Really cool place. The fried chicken and pork belly were especially good, squid, onion rings, cauliflower, all very good. Get the platter and thank me later. Friendly staff, and for me; the location is perfect.

We hired the Good George hall for a private function as part of my charity group and we were so impressed with the service, food and entire experience. Easy to book, easy to communicate and everything ran smoothly. Would highly recomend.

We took some UK friends who were visiting New Zealand there. Great food and service. That beer was very popular with the party and the black Doris plum gin is very tasty!

Best place for a client function, just so easy to deal with, professional, outstanding food and bloody great beer. Everything was perfect. Totally stress free, if you want a smooth, no worries function, come to these guys they are brilliant and will look after you and your clients.

Paris & Karolina were so helpful and attentive. George the cat was basking in the sun next to us. Felt like we were at home except it was brewery within a church which kind of makes it 10 times better. Thanks Good George, keep the good vibes rolling!!!

We had a great night out last night at Good George. The staff were so friendly and made us feel so welcomed. We loved taste testing some drinks and sharing a platter that was all served within a great time. Thank you for the great night!

A 15 to 20 minute walk from the middle of town. The Good George dining hall is well worth the effort. With a tray of 5 or 6 beers/ciders. Some of the nicest seasoned fries as well. Thanks to Leslie and Sam for looking after us during our visit, well done guys.

There are stools, chairs, and couches for different comforts 💺Seating is also inside, or on an enclosed deck
My favourite thins is the tasting paddle, with a great selection of lagers🍺ales, ciders 🍷 cocktails🍹and mixers🍸 The menu is good. I ordered a selection of breads and dips, and it turned out to be a huge amount of bread 🍞. Some had walnuts 🌰 some had olives, some had herbs. It was quite good actually 😋
I was fascinated to see how they check ✔ and control yeast levels and whatnot of the beer
They also have a great selection of take home alcohol on site for sale at quite reasonable prices 🛍
The gentleman serving me was really helpful and lovely 🙂
