Had lovely lamb rogan josh, taste was perfect! I'm a Kiwi but lived in Malaysia for 10yrs where there are many Indian restaurants...so it was my go-to for dining out. I came to Little India with an Indian friend for his birthday, and he said the meal was just like his father makes.
The vibe is a little bland - but there was nice Hindi music in the background, not too loud. Plenty of space between tables for comfort. Some people have complained about portion sizes - and yes, it was smallish, but it was lunch, and the price was good compared to other places I've eaten. I would be very happy to eat here again!

The butter chicken is so good, it has ruined all other butter chicken for me. And the cheese and garlic naan oozes cheese. My favourite Indian restaurant in Hamilton!

Spent dinner here last night with hubby. ❤️ We ordered half a tandoori chicken platter, 1 butter chicken and 1 garlic naan to share between us both as well as 2 mango lassi. The food and drink are TOP TIER! Great proportion , we couldn’t finish it all. Well worth the price! Staff is incredible. 😁 Amazing work to the cooks & the staff! Keep it up Little India. 🇮🇳

By far the BEST INDIAN RESTAURANT I HAVE EATEN AT. I’m originally from Auckland but this restaurant beats Auckland by far. Got into Hamilton 9pm the time they close but called up and said can I please dine in, they was happy to serve me. Ordered khadai chicken and shai paneer. Was so surprised that khadai chicken had so much chicken portion compared to other Auckland restaurants I been. Shai paneer was cooked to perfection. Loved the garlic and cheese naan!!!!
