Wonder Horse

Wonderhorse bar is a Hamilton institution. It’s small, and easy to miss if you don’t know about it as it’s tucked down an alley. But once you enter you are in for a treat. Great beers on tap. Cocktails expertly mixed. They have a menu but if you don’t see anything you like or you are after a different flavour combo, they will sort you out. They have bar snacks available and they also run a whiskey club and a beer club monthly. If you don’t like a huge crowd, go early. Great place, good atmosphere, cosy and cool 👍

Came here mid Saturday evening for a drink after dinner down the road. Great little place and cost atmosphere, Also seating upstairs. Tucked Fien a small driveway off of Victoria Street. I had a Amaretto sour and friend had gin,lime and Soda. My drink was nice, but didn’t have a strong taste of Amaretto which I would normally expect, but mixed well. Gin lime and soda, unsure if the guy was new, but seemed confused about request for pink gin, and asked for lime cordial but only had lime slices. Normally this is served on a large glass, but was in a short glass and very strong with little flavour. Would come here again, and hope a little better next time.

Great place for your night out. Get socialized with every one on this great bar. You will enjoy the whisky tasting where they will give 8 different types of whisky starting from low range of alchol to the high one. Absolutely phenomenal and you will enjoy it. Staffs are very friendly and you will definitely have a great time on Friday and Saturday night!!
