We have several fish and chips shops available, after trying each a few times, these guys have been the best.
Be it crumbed and fried, or battered fish, each meal has been very good.
Price wise similar, but taste wise so much better.

Undoubtedly, the best Asian/Chinese (and other style) gourmet take-away Restaurants in Hamilton... The quality of food served is exemplary, the quantity for the cost ten times so... Welcoming and friendly, every single time I've either dropped-in unannounced or ordered by phone, nothing is a problem to these Professional Chefs... And better still, the hyper-efficient and friendly front-line staff. It's a long, long time since I had the opportunity to recommend so highly a Chinese based take-away Restaurant so extremely highly... Most being just about a 3 Star Average... Forget 5 Star Google Reviews... This team of super efficient crew and their Superlative Cuisine is without question, not doubt, for Hamilton, Waikato a well-deserved 10 out of 5. Don't believe me, think I'm fantasising... " The Proof is definitely in the pudding" ...Test my overly positive comments, try them.. YOU WILL NOT be disappointed. BEST CHINESE (and other styles like Indonesian, Malay) in ALL OF THE WAIKATO. NO JOKING!!!

We love rex and Nikkis! It's our go to fish n chip and Chinese shop, we've tried a lot around Hamilton and nothing compares. Food is always delicious and has so much flavor! The staff are incredibly friendly and always give us a free 1.5l drink with our food. Highly recommend 👌

Second best fish & chips I've had in NZ. Must have whenever in, or passing through Hamilton. Can't speak for the Chinese food but fresh fish and chips are great!

Ordered on New Years Eve, amazing food, great portions and friendly service. The Chicken fried rice has to be best in the area. Our friends raved about their order of sweet and sour with pork and sweet and sour with prawns, that it was so good.. Highly recommend you try them for a takeaway.

We bought a massive feed for the family tonight. The fish & chips, were huge, crispy and delicious!! Steak & Egg Burgers were yummy, Fish Burger was gorgeous. Chinese food was fresh, flavourful and delicious!! I highly recommend this store if you want great food. Friendly, warm service too, will definitely be back, thank you!!
