Conquistador Restaurant

Had a fabulous meal here. We split the seafood platter which was all shellfish. It was $90 which was well worth every cent. The server recommended a dry red wine which was from Portugal. She let us try the house red as well which was good ans would pair well with any dish in an unassuming way. They specialize in seafood and meat dishes. I would highly recommend this place for an intimate date night or a family gathering. We are thinking it’ll make a nice place to walk to for a glass of wine and watch a game in the bar area of the restaurant. The place is divided into three distinct areas; store, bar and dining room. Try it and you’ll like it.

A truly memorable experience. A well decorated Portuguese restaurant with exquisite seafood platters, appetizers. Kenny G in the background, great wine, and great service. You gotta have Platter number one. The clams were absolutely mouth watering. A hidden gem on the mountain that is a must visit. Not expensive. An on site Portugese deli/convenience store part of the venu... Sauces, t-shirts, food items...

Went for dinner tonight The food was fabulous The largest mussels I've ever had We really enjoyed the experience I have wanted try this place out for a long time but it is a little out of the way from where we live. Glad we finally got there I would recommend Conquistador to anyone who is looking for a really good meal

One of my favourite restaurant in the city! Been a hand full of times for dine in throughout the years. Very beautiful and elegant decor on the inside. Food never disappoints especially their seafood. My go to is the fish filet dinner with the seafood rice. Portions are great and the price is reasonable. Ordered take out today as they will be closing permanently by the end of this week. Sad to see the place go!

Wow! You all did an amazing job of making our anniversary dinner just outstanding! We had a selection of cod and shrimp rissois, butter shrimp and seafood rice, garden & Greek salads, roast chicken, potatoes, and veg and EVERYTHING was absolutely well cooked and impressively flavourful. Also, their food delivery from Skip The Dishes was perfectly on time for the earliest part of our delivery window. You made our night, our anniversary, and impressed our taste buds 😋 ❤ Thank you so much!!!
