Taco Del Mar

This place is just kind of okay. Compared to campus food it's amazing but in general it's just okay. I got the taco salad with shredded beef which is pretty good. A major downside here is the portion control. Beef and sauce and cheese were all portion controlled so hard. Be a little generous guys, common!

I go to this place all the time. They have consistent, clean and fresh food. The price is reasonable. I have found that all their meats are worth trying, though the shredded beef is my favourite for burritos and the ground beef is my favourite for tacos. I would recommend the burritos, which are about 1.3 times the size of a full meal. I also like the three taco option for a lighter fare. I would not recommend the edible bowl, and the nachos are not as good as other options. They put a lot of effort into their staff and have pleasant workers and less turnover than comparable places, like the local Pita Pit. However, staff are often confused by their cash register, which some people find annoying.

I have been to other locations that are fantastic. Unfortunately this one is clearly just college kids that don't care too deeply about their jobs. The meat in our tacos was cold, the shrimp were cold, and any toppings we asked for were given at a bare minimum. The staff were friendly enough but clearly do not care about making appetizing food.
