First time here, every other cafe stopped serving hot food at 4pm😒
Loved that lime light still offered a full menu after 4pm. Food was lovely I had soup & sandwhich! The girls work hard & will defo be back again. I liked the variety of different soups. ❤️❤️❤️
Aye it's a good wee cafe for a bite or two. Service is good. We are all Darlings. Honey's and Sweetheart's. Not a dull moment. Food good too. Got the zest coffee inside too. Brilliant so it is.

Hadn't been in for year's. Visited today with my parents. The service was top notch. The soup was amazing. Especially the cream of mushroom. Can't believe I've left it so long to go in. Will become a regular place to pop into when I'm in Hamilton.
Popped in for a bite to eat with my partner and the cafe did not disappoint. Lovely good quality food, reasonably priced, friendly and engaging staff that is super clean. It is very busy but the staff are more than capable of handling it and and not off putting while you eat either. The cafe sells Equis ice cream so that’s always a bonus. Will definitely be back next time I’m in the area.
Been looking for a decent cafe since M&S closed. Tried the Limelight Cafe today. It was fantastic. Terrific menu for a mid sized cafe. Staff are simply impressive. Friendly and very helpful. This will now become my go to cafe in Hamilton town centre. There isn't a better cafe for miles.
I Was in this morning and had a wonderful mocha and a tattie scone roll. There was one member of staff who kept shouting at the other staff members which I felt was unnecessary because the staff were absolutely brilliant! But other than that the staff could not have been friendlier! Service was fast and high quality, and all the sugar and sauces were fully stocked and high quality! Will definitely be back.
Absolutely fantastic service. The new manager was lovely couldn't have been any nicer and the food was lovely. All freshly made and so worth the money. Will definitely be back.

Have been going there since it opened would not go anywhere else.
My husband and I have attended twice. Both times we received amazing survice and have adored the atmosphere. You can tell the staff genuinely care for their customers and one another. The food has been lovely. The only constructive criticism is that both times I ordered the soup, chicken and rice and then broccoli and Stilton. Both times the soup has been overpowered by salt, above and beyond the soups natural salt from the cheese. It'd be lovely to reduce the salt and have it so customers can add a little if their palet requires. The second time I will state I was offered another soup option which was so thoughtful, however I denied as I believe most their soups would be salty. Will be returning as such a joy. And a lil salt never hurt no one.
Food is always lovely, and a wide variety. All of the staff are very helpful and so nice. I cannot fault anything in this cafe, and it is a pleasure to eat there. 10/10.

Good place for a lunch or light meal or just a quick cuppa. Nice friendly and helpful staff who obviously look after their regular customers.
