Haven't been here for awhile and happy to say we will be coming back. Prices are reasonable. Had a friendly waitress who also helped water down my sons soda for me. Food was just as good as I remember. And I was sure to hit the shop for some goodies. Ran into a lovely woman running the cashier. Very clean here as well and I could here the other waitress helping someone with suggesting food for their diet. All in all a good place to be!

What to say about Cracker Barrel... A favorite of my family, I've been eating here for years. And while I've always loved the atmosphere and spending time browsing the gift shop after a big meal, I never cared for the food. Sure, the pancakes are good, but that's about it. Everything I've ever had here has underwhelmed me. The country fried steak, the chicken and dumplings, the catfish, the mashed potatoes, the eggs, the bacon, the sausage, THE GRITS NEED ABOUT A STICK OF BUTTER BEFORE YOU CAN TASTE THEM! I don't like it.

The only reason I gave 1 star so I could leave this picture and review. I payed $11.43 for this hearty breakfast maybe if I was a 6 yr old that would have been hearty. They charged my daughter $2.49 for a side of hash brown casserole which is the same size in a hearty breakfast. My wife's pancakes had set under the heat lamp long enough for them to start to curl. The serves was a little better than the kitchen service. I kept my cool and didn't get kicked out but I will never set foot in your establishment ever again!!!!

Part II....The brand redemption...eating tonight at a Cracker Barrel in the 757 Resort area of Williamsbug... Helped me remember why Cracker Barrel was my mom favorite but I promised Lisa at Hampton Cracker Barrel I would come back ... so see ya Soon ..Part III
PART I...The experience
Hampton Cracker Barrel
Server very nice & pleasant and pop manager was pleasant to assist us...when we had some challenges with our meals...
We got here by 8:30p and they close at 10pm...meal came at 8:52 we got our silverware at 9:00p went to eat my food and mashed potatoes and gravy were hard🤔then got half the size meatloaf of the regular size a little over cooked because they were about out...
I'm not sure what was going on in the kitchen or were they just very under staffed...
But as I left a very pleasant lady who checked us out named Lisa ...asked could we please give them another chance..after.. I showed her the meal and explained my food experience was not the best but explained overall the customer service of our server and general manager was pleasant...
So hopefully the next time you see my Cracker Barrel In Hampton review those two ⭐️ ⭐️ will go up...
STAY Tuned for Part II....

There are 10-15 open tables, but the line is out the door. Nobody will seat them. After we were seated, it was 20 minutes before we saw a server. It was an hour and a half before we saw food. I’ve never seen service as bad as this place, and we eat at Cracker Barrel’s all over the country. When we got the food, the grits were caked over and had obviously been sitting unattended for a long time. All the food was cold. The eggs were gummy from having been cold for too long. The only thing that had a decent taste was the country ham. The rest was disgusting. The staff is very nice, but the working conditions here are absolutely unacceptable

Horrible. Ordered the grandpa breakfast, the fried chicken tasted like I said it was marinated in dirty water. The presentation on the plate was horrendous. Biscuit and gravy, was served in a basket...... Who does that seriously. Have no desire to ever visit a cracker barrel again

First visit back after years. Mother's Day lunch. Expected crowds and a wait. Wait was about 15'mins, not bad. Got seated, ordered. Server said they were short staffed and the kitchen was behind. Okay, we talked ( our group) and waited. After an hour our server said they were out of what we ordered. By this time new diners arrived and were seated and served their orders. We inquired about the fact they ordered the same menu items we did? Server said he would check. All in all it took almost two hours to receive our order. Manager adjusted our ticket. I felt was handled to our group satisfaction. Will return. The server was very pleasant.

Food was excellent! Service was great! Wait time wasn't excessive! My only gripe is the plastic tableware. Realizing the state of the economy, blah blah blah but there are a lot lot of folks who like the food and will pay the price and wait, so don't these fine people deserve real metal flatware? What's next, paper or plastic (plates that is!) Fortunately my iced tea didn't arrive in a styrofoam cup!) My wife and i don't go out often but i was taken aback. What's the point of dining-in if you are gonna be treated like you're at a fancy cookout? Or is this a thing now? Do other chain restaurants use plastic tableware? Is it just me?
