Juan's Mexican Cafe And Cantina

We and another family were staying at a nearby hotel on our way to the Outer Banks. Between the two families there were 7 kids between the ages of 21 and 4 and everyone left full and happy. We ALL easily found something on the expansive menu and every meal was perfectly delivered and so yummy. We started with the guacamole, which they make tableside, and it was out of this world! Our waiter was fantastic and very attentive to our large party. If we are ever in the area again we would make it a point to stop here again. That's how great of an experience it was!

Visited this location unexpectedly. The food is large portions so you get what you pay for. The chips are yummy and they keep them coming. The food and desserts are delicious. The service was fantastic for a Saturday night although the location was not super busy. Perhaps some of the restaurants at the front of the shopping center catch everyone's attention first. I say venture back to Juan's though.

Husband and I ordered the carne asada fries as app and they were phenomenal. Steak was extremely tender and they did not skimp. Salsa was okay, left me wanting more cilantro and onion. We both ordered enchiladas, him chicken and me chicken, beef, and cheese. They were okay, the beef was seasoned very well but not the best not worst I’ve ever had. Prob won’t be back though but not a terrible experience. There is a reason Virginia isn’t known for its Mexican food.
