Golden City

Looking for a home and land to build a air strip and art studio. 🎨 while in Mathews I was directed to this spot. By Charlene my realtor. Great side trip. And one of reasons I'm considering Mathews as a location for my last stop... this should be the local that I m box up in and hauled away... my last hail and fair well ... Tally ho!!! Slice out.

Kept trying to tell me my cards didn’t work when i clearly called and the card stated there was enough funds gave her another card that works as well she stated it didn’t work she didn’t even care to try she was rushing , went to another Chinese spot used both cards and there was no problem , maybe it was your system maybe you could have took the time to check . The cards were fine nomore service for me , lol and I gave them a TIP still .

Checked this place out because a similar establishment near my house closed. I asked for light sauce because I didn't want my sesame chicken swimming in it. I even asked for no veggies in my pork fried rice. They accommodated me no problem! The lady behind the counter was very nice and got my order perfect. The food was exceptional. I found my new Chinese spot!

This is my family's preferred Chinese restaurant. They have great lunch specials and they're quick and generous with food. The restaurant itself is open and you can see right into the kitchen. Clean, clean, clean. My favs are the chicken rice, chicken lo mein, and hot and sour. I like the people that work here, too. They're nice and friendly.

I have had food from Golden City several times in the recent past. I enjoy their food, and my guy friend does too. On this last visit, I ordered the house special Egg Foo Yung, he had Pork Fried Rice and Fried Shrimp. We both enjoyed our meals. You can eat in the restaurant; they do have a small dine-in area, but we always get take-out. They DO NOT deliver, but call your order in and they will have it ready for you.
