Bogie's At Depot Square

Nice place. Staff was very friendly- many who walked by said hello, one may have been the owner. Atmosphere was a little loud but fun. Husband and son ordered Prime Rib with crab cake. They said it was very good-loved the crab cake! I had shrimp scampi which was bland- needed some actual minced garlic in it. For dessert split s'more pie and carrot cake. S'more pie was to die for! Drinks were good! Will be back!

Disappointed. Ordered Chicken Piccata with side of fries for pick up. The taste was a generic 5/10, There were literally 9 thin french fries and the Piccata dish has a thin small chicken breast cut in two but the puzzling part was that there was less than one cup of pasta in the container.(spaghetti no less) It was so sparse, that I could see the aluminum bottom of the to go container. Pasta costs .50 cents per pound.. I don't understand why restaurants cheap out like this when there are so many options here in Hampton.... The bartender was very pleasant and cordial. I eat out over 200 times per year so I know what is a good value and what is not. So, in summary, I paid $22.00 for 9 french fries, a small chicken breast, and one cup of buttered pasta. Not a winning formula for repeat business.

So good, going back tonight! The CRAB CAKES are a MUST!!!!! It wasn't busy when we went in but every person in there said hello!! We also had a pizza and that was wicked good too. The owner was next to us and was super nice had good music on. The staff was friendly and gave me good info for places to go the next day, (We were visiting his town). Husband said bathrooms were clean. Overall excellent!!
