We were very pleased! We chose to eat on the deck and got a little chilly before we finished eating, but that was on us. The menu had lots to offer. The fried flounder was great, salad was fresh and tasty, baked potatoes were delicious, french fries were good, the calabash shrimp was very good! I would have preferred the hush puppies a little more done. The service was good and the views were amazing on a beautiful fall day!
Overall we were very pleased and will return.

After being told there was a 45 minute wait that turned into an hour and a half, Tierra really improved our experience. The food was absolutely delicious. The "Sesame Tuna and Catfish" was perfectly cooked, the sides were plentiful and the drinks came fast. Besides the amazing food and staff, you have get an amazing view. I highly recommend this establishment, just know that you cannot make reservations and the wait time is extended for safety reasons. Thank you Tierra.

They are closed now until the spring but well worth the wait! Awesome atmosphere with great views! Reasonably priced & good food.

Always one of my family's favorite places to go! My Mom passed away earlier this year, and I went to celebrate her birthday there as we had done so many times before. There was a little wait due to Covid restrictions, but was not any longer than they told me. All the staff were kind and friendly; my server was Rachel, and she was superb. Handling several tables, but still attentive and not intrusive. Had the crab legs with chips, bread was very good (took the rest home!), crab legs best I've had in a long time (of course haven't been to the coast in a while, but still very good- ate it all!), and homemade chips were wonderfully crisp. Had unsweeten tea and it was also top notch, not bitter or stale as some places are. Took some of that home too! The best part was the relaxing atmosphere and the fabulous view. Highly recommended!!!!

Nestled atop a gorgeous lake view, surrounded by majestic trees and rolling hills, you come across this picturesque locale offering great food and service aside from its enchanting vista.
.
Unfortunately, the two hostesses working the afternoon we visited, (Sunday, July 26, 2020) may not have gotten the memo on warm welcomes or did not care to uphold or honor what the site and restaurant claim as friendly service.
.
I am not sure if they were having a bad day, (we certainly all do), but you know that feeling you get when you walk in on a conversation clearly more important than anything else at the moment? Those were the looks we received, as we walked in, and they were offered by none other than said pair of hostesses.
.
After a brief brainfart, puzzling over why we felt like we were highly inconveniencing these ladies, we mustered our greetings, asking how their day was, only to be met with them sharing a quick glance to each other, before they pulled their masks over their faces, looking somewhat disgusted at us and mumbled "Fine,Two?" -Just like that: not a breath in between. We said yes, and were told there would be a 15-minute wait.
.
We waited outside, as per the new Covid-19 rules are observed....in the rain.
.
A few minutes later, we were seated with the same warmth and strained politeness we were greeted, and left at our table before we could even breathe out our "Thank you".
.
Our waitress was sweet, but also very much in a rush and seemed flustered. We hope folks treat her well and are kind to her. Also, maybe cut her some slack.
.
We tried some Fried Green Tomatoes which were covered in a delicious batter but were extremely soggy. These, along with the Shrimp Cocktail, the Hush Puppies, and the Combo Platter, tasted of Frozen goods, not fresh. =(
.
We also ordered A File Mignon which was, in itself, quite tasty, but the bacon wrapped around it was not fully cooked.
.
The Baked sweet potato was microwaved, as no one can bake a sweet potato in under 15 minutes, unless you are a Wizard, Harry. This was very disappointing, as we have not eaten microwaved food in years. We cook clean and from scratch.
.
The place is family-friendly, but do be aware that very colorful and passionate conversations will be had at loud volumes by patrons, who will make it a point to let others know how much of a patriot, man, player, or big deal they are, and how much they really don't give a F* who doesn't like it.
.
Our dinner and view were accompanied by a table of 7 next to us, regaling one of their numbers' experience with picking up a Hot*ss chick who turned out to be a H*ebag, but he still F*ck*d her sideways and then told her to "Get the f*ck out ma housss" without even calling her a cab.
.
Classy.
.
We completely understand that an establishment cannot control its patrons, but maybe a sign with a suggestion to keep conversations PG, 'OR' a warning that Adult (if you can call it that) conversations are had?
.
The rest of the evening was accompanied by their melodious dragging of this poor girl's character, with one woman, in particular, enjoying this poor girl's evisceration.
.
Eventually, our meal was finished, as the rain subsided, and the sun, once more peeked over the majestic mountains, if only for an enchanting ephemeral setting, and we walked out, after paying for what is going to be an unforgettable experience.
We know things are weird. We know folks are doing the best they can, or at least most people are. But some are not. Some can do better, and a little sympathy and empathy can go a long way.
We can't say we felt warm or welcomed. We can't say if we'd recommend this place or return. We can only wish everyone the best and hope your days and lives improve.
But that view, though.

Where to start..... we decided to try this restaurant because of its great reviews, but we quickly realized that we were lied to. I ordered the clam chowder, which was watery and did not taste good. I had two bites of it. A Ceasar salad was one of my sides... instead of Ceasar dressing, it tasted like mayonnaise, so I didn't eat that either.....for my main meal I got the steak and potatoes. The potatoes taste like they were boxed potatoes...... the steak was okay.......as far as the service, the waitress was extremely nice and polite, however she never removed one cup or plate from our table. Our overall experience was terrible. We spent 80 bucks on our meals, and would have been more satisfied with McDonald's 2$ fries! I am writing this review in hopes that other people aren't mislead to think this is a 4.5 star restaurant.

Ordered take out. When we got home, 1/2 of our food was missing. Called them to tell them. Too far to go back to get food. They offered a free appetizer or dessert on our next visit. With a 92.00 check and not getting 1/2 of our food, we should have received a partial refund. The food we did get was very good. Otherwise, I would have given only one star.

Beautiful place, water views beautiful. My sister and I ordered the crab cakes, salad, and hot chips. The crab cakes and hot chips were overcooked to a very dark brown, almost burned. The salad was beautiful arranged and good. Ranch salad dressing tasted rich and homemade The waitress was very nice. They were quick to bring tea refills. I will try it again.
