Ate outside, nice and clean. Small menu with no childrens options unfortunately. Luckily we visited specifically for the Ploughmans which had been recommend. It was delicious and a large portion for the price so we could share with our son. Very impressed.
Wonderful food, seriously good ploughman's the best I've had in sussex. Gorgeous roaring fire, traditional.cosy pub with great service.
Amazing traditional pub. Great ploughman's. If you enjoy your ale they know how to look after it and serve it
Lovely traditional pub. Fab food. Upgraded offer since my last visit 25 years ago! Would go again love the location. Quiet countryside.
Always a pleasure to eat in this pub. Being bank holiday Monday, and with live music, this was an especially busy day but the two girls serving the tables never stopped and maintained high quality service. Well done girls.
Food was delicious, service was good although a little bit slow today. However the delicious bread rolls arrived warm and freshly baked so that's probably what we were waiting for!
Went for supper last week and had a super evening. Aside from the location, which was gorgeous, the staff, who were friendly, attentive and professional, the thing that stood out was the stunning culinary experience!!! I chose the mushroom pate for starters, which was delicately flavoured and gener
A proper country pub with delicious food and scenery
A gem! Lovely cosy atmosphere. Food was 10/10 - we had the ploughman and the special smorgasbord which was impressive. Staff were all very friendly. Thank you!
Had a great afternoon here, food excellent all 6 meals ordered got the thumbs up, Tartiflette was spot on, staff attentive and friendly, highly recommended.
Great traditional pub racked Harvey's fabulous food thank you we will return
One of the most antiquated pubs I have been in for a long time but very nice. Food service a bit slow but worth the wait. Real ales still served direct from the barrels. Looks like it could be well worth a visit in the summer with its large outdoor seating area
What a find. Fabulous place, with low beams, real fire and a warm welcome. It is how a British pub should be!!
Great Sunday lunch after a walk in the Bolney Bluebell woods. We all had a ploughman's and all agreed that they were excellent. Service was friendly and efficient. We will be going back to try more from their menu!!
Love this beautiful, classic country pub in the heart of sussex
Lovely quant country pub, family run and very welcoming. Lots of walks nearby for the dog to enjoy also, we will most definitely be attending again.
Meet here every m9nth with the Sussex Lancia Club. Always a delightful experience. Highly recommend it!
Great country pub, with excellent friendly staff providing great service and awesome tasty cuisine. There was plenty of outside seating and if you want to eat, I would suggest you book as there is limited seating inside, but it's so well worth it. Well done all the team.
Great little country pub with friendly staff and a great atmosphere with live music
