Waggon & Horses, Greene King Pub & Carvery

Went here for some food as a family! Upon arrival we were greeted and shown to a table told either order at the bar or through the Greeneking app! Ordered through the app! Drinks arrived quicky and as ordered Food arrvied shortly afterwards quán well presented! Thanks waggon and horses Will be back soon

Visited with my daughter-in-law, young Son (aged 5) and grand daughters (aged 2 and 6 mths) Unfortunately the day we visited the only food option was carvery which was a massive disappointment to my 5yr old who had his heart set on pizza haha. The rest of our party fully enjoyed the carvery All in all it cost about £45 to feed us with drinks. The staff were all lovely and helpful and it wasn't busy when we visited. We were seated straight away. Car parking was free/validated. We even managed an hour in the childrens indoor soft play area set off at the back of the gardens at a cost of £5 per child The soft play area was ok

They didn't realise we had a table reserved so they put the food off but put it back on just for us. The food was amazing and a lot better than I thought the quality and portions were good and the staff were very understanding and lovely. And we also watched the football and city won the champions league which was also a bonus they have plenty of places to watch it including outside and on a projector and TVs etc. Well done to the staff!

This place has a lovely carvery the young man serving the carvery was very polite very happy . Service with a smile. You can choose different flavours to add to your draught fizzy drinks .There is kids play outside for free and an inside play which is £5 for 90 minutes the kids loved it, would return again in the future oh and there is plenty of parking

When where flying from Manchester Airport we always stay at Best Western Pinewood Hotel & this place is about 10mins walk down the road. Its an excellent place to get really nice food, they have an extensive menu plus there's always the carvery to choose from, the staff are always very friendly everytime we have been in & have a very large outdoor play area for children

Ordering from the app is still hit or miss most of the time. Everything we got was ordered through the app and it came straight away after ordering apart from pudding. We waited nearly 40 minutes for ice cream and then saw all of the kitchen staff leaving and one of the other staff members had to make them for us instead. I would say this isn't exactly the staffs fault and more down to the app most likely. The food was quite nice and the Jack Daniels BBQ sauce is definitely go to for sauce. The starters we got were all nice. We had chicken strips, halloumi, and the new battered sausage with bacon wrapped around it.
