Lovely traditional country pub. The food was excellent and fresh. I went for the fish and chips and it was lovely. The rooms were really nice. Well decorated and clean. Beds were really comfy. The only issue is the WiFi was very poor, as was the signal, so if you need it to work away maybe request a
Absolutely wonderful experience! From the beginning to the end of the visit. Just outside of Grantham , stopped by for a lunch on Sunday ,1st time visit. Very pleasant staff, quick friendly service and the food was absolutely amazing! Carpark available, sitting outside. Lovely decor and atmosphere.
Been here enough times to happily recommend to others. Worth noting I have not stayed in the rooms - I have visited for food and drinks only Food is excellent, there's a limited menu but that's usually a good sign. Traditional hearty pub meals on offer, you will finish feeling full and satisfied.
Came with the dog and had a lovely lunch. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We both had the "Greg Burgers" which were massive and came with fries. Well worth a visit and recommended.
Fantastic and convenient stop for delicious food and drink on a lunch break. The fish and chips were accompanied with homemade tartar sauce, all in all, of the highest calibre. Will definitely be back.
Friendly staff, good food, dog friendly too. Not rushed even when busy. Good range of choices on menu. Good value for money.
This is a lovely pub and extremely welcoming. Staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. I have several anaphylactic allergies and each time I have eaten here, they have always been super helpful, understanding and go the extra mile to ensure I can have something to eat. The food is superb. I
Fabulous hosts especially Yasmine! Service with a smile - attentive and courteous. Great value food and good selection of beers. Will definitely visit again!
The staff are very welcoming and friendly, food delicious, hubby had haddock in amazing crispy batter, I had the chargrilld chicken and bacon salad, both were very good.
Great pub, good service. Making the food isn't the fastest, but it is good quality. The best stake I have ever had. Plenty of parking, real fireplace, dog friendly... What's not to like?
