Review The Pheasant Restaurant - Harlington

I had the most amazing time at this restaurant! The food was not just delicious; it was a flavor explosion that left my taste buds dancing with joy. What really impressed me was the portion size – they don't skimp on servings here, and I left with a happy, full belly. The atmosphere was great, and the staff were amicable and attentive. It was a delightful experience from start to finish. I can't wait to go back and try more of their delectable dishes. If you're looking for a fun and fulfilling dining adventure, this place is an absolute must-visit!

Absolutely lovely place to eat, drink and relax. After being in London all week where most restaurants and pubs are very child and dog friendly, I was happy to visit a place that was 18 and over only. I love children, but it’s nice to enjoy a meal without screaming children around. I think all parents would agree. We were able to walk here from our hotel, the Marriott. It was a lovely, short, 10 minute walk. The location is great for travelers staying near the airport. You are seated with menus. The menus are HUGE! I’ve included pictures of all of the pages. Then you go up to order and pay at a counter. There’s a wooden spoon at your table with a number on it. You give the cashier the number. Then, you go to the bar and order your drinks. So, it’s kind of self-service. Obviously the restaurant is good if it’s been around since 1864! But I’ll give my 2 cents anyway. I ordered the “chicken supreme” and my husband ordered the “Cumberland sausage and mash”. Mine was delicious, but it isn’t exactly how it’s described on the menu. The menu states that it’s “stuffed” with mozzarella. It’s not. It just has mozzarella cheese melted on top. The menu also states that it’s “on a bed of ratatouille”. It’s not. It has a ratatouille sauce on the side and a red pepper that’s stuffed with a kind of ratatouille (zucchini, red onion, red pepper, tomato, etc). The chicken is 2 pieces. It was well cooked and seasoned nicely. The plate is very big! There’s a lot of mashed potatoes. I couldn’t finish my meal. As a matter of fact, I was never hungry for dinner 5 hours later! So, BIG portions. My husband enjoyed his meal as well, but also couldn’t finish his. The bar has a nice selection of beers, wines, and liquor. There’s plenty of outdoor seating with and without cover. I would definitely return to the restaurant. I love the history of it.

5*. The best place around west London to eat hearty pub food at a cheap price. Beer usual price but staff are great. Down for Business. Place has a good buzz to it, the gazebos are a good idea. Biggest portion of Nachos I’ve ever seen. Ribs fell off the bone. Prawns delicious. We liked it that much went back 3 times.

It’s no wonder why this restaurant gets such amazing reviews! I was looking for a place to catch up with a friend for dinner and I am so glad that this popped up on my TripAdvisor account. The food was fantastic and I would highly recommend the chicken and mushroom pot pie. The flavors were amazing along with the buttery crust. The staff was friendly, warm, and wonderful. There was a relaxing ambiance. And I was glad my friend made a reservation because the restaurant filled up fast. I would absolutely come back here for dinner when I am visiting England.

Wow! I am so glad that a friend of mine told me about this place. This was hands down the best meal that I had in England. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Lots of beers to choose from. Don't worry about the line to order, it is so worth the wait! Just get a pint and study the menu as there are so many delicious options to choose from. I don't think that you could go wrong with anything on the menu. Can't wait for my next trip. If you are anywhere near LHR, you must come here!

What a lovely pub. Absolutely smashing restaurant, a little on the pricey side but definitely worth it! The quality of the food and also the portion sizes make it value for money. The team are so so lovely and will happily go out of their way to ensure you enjoy your experience with them. Would highly recommend to everyone 😊

Went back here after years. Nice place. Food is great value with good portion sizes. Because its so busy the waiting times are excessive. I went on a Wednesday and it was packed . There is a good 30 mins wait for a table. Then there is a good 30 mins wait for queuing up to place your order for food and then there is around 30 mins to wait for your food to arrive to the table. So you really need to be patient with this place.

Tremendous ambiance and an authentic British pub, with delicious pub fare and wide beverage selections. On an overnight at Heathrow and staying at an airport hotel, found this place highly rated and decided to walk to the pub to have a look. Planning initially on a pint to scope it out, saw the food coming out, the happy locals and travellers alike enjoying and decided to dig in for dinner. We are happy we did!! Local pints, lamb special with salad and chips, and truly enjoyed the experience! We will be back on our next sojourn through an LHR overnight!!

The Sunday roast is a must! The portions are huge so if you’re in a group you’re most likely going to have a plethora of food ! Service staff are good! Bar options are great as well.

The Pheasant has been a favourite place to hang out for me & my colleagues. It is the quentenisial gastro pub but with so much more! The ambience is fantastic, warm interiors in the winters & gorgeous colours in the summers.
The crowds always great, they get full even on week days. The weekends have dance music & you see the crowds letting their hair down.

Service is friendly & efficient. Though the drinks are self service(like all pubs) & the meal orders are placed right outside the kitchen.

Food- The best bit about the
Pheasant is hands down their food. The menu is extensive, besides their regular menu they have specials on the block board.

The chicken mushroom pie & shepherd's pie are all time favorites. This time around we tried Mussels Marienere & baby back ribs & jacket potato. The Mussels were beautifully cooked & the white wine sauce was a treat. We mopped it all with the delicious baguette. The ribs fell off the bone, exposing the carnivore in all of us. We clicked off every rib like cave men. The shepherd's pie was consistent as usual. The jacket potato with cheese was devoured with 2 dollops of butter.

The beers flowed, the chatter got louder & moved to moanfuls of oohhs & aahhs! Their portions are gigantic so order with discretion. For me & my fellow gluttons it was another fab evening.

A friend recommended eating here, so a few of us made our way in for dinner. The menu is really extensive, which is great for some, but not me. Too many options, so I opted for the burger and fries. Great choice, but everyone else’s plates looked just as good as mine. I tried the chicken pie and the shepherds pie...pretty darn good. Big portions, so head in with a big appetite.

When you walk through the lanes in Hayes, hidden from the busy roads is this beautiful place called Pheasant Inn. Comes across as a tiny lovey chapel from far but as you get closer and enter it's like this pretty little pub with a lot of happy chatter.

They have a variety of beers on tap out of which the Irish Guinness is my top favourite with a drizzle of black current syrup which makes it taste so Good!
The food here is great. I've tried the Baby back barbeque ribs with chicken wings which is just finger licking good.
The char grilled tuna steak is served with salad which is a bit dry and should be accompanied with some kind of a sauce.
The wild mushroom risotto is superb.
The best I've had here is their fish and chips which is a staple in the UK. Crispy Cod served with the famous curly fries and salad.
The soup of the day i once happened to try was the Tomato and Basil soup which was a nice warm thick blend served with a baguette which was sufficient to fill me up with just a course by itself.

The only drawback about this place is the ordering procedure where in you have to wait in a queue which at times on a busy day are really long to place your food order. The order takes roughly about 20 -30 minutes be served which is decent.

It is a nice spot to chill over a few drinks with friends and colleagues. The lovely woody interiors and ambiance makes you want to go back. On a nice summer day you can also chill at the sitting area which is outside and enjoy the weather.

Shuts very early, last order is at 2200 hrs which should be extended a bit.

Could not get in

3X 57 year old men who has been drinking in this pub since the late 70s was told we could not
come in unless we had Photo Id , or a passport. So we were turned away on 24 Sep 2017.

The pub was not busy. The time was 10.50pm the pub is open
till 2pm.

Why Why Why ???

The Bouncer must be losing the pub awful lot of money as we
were only wanted one or two pints. How many other people have they turned away?

Went with colleagues mid week looking for a beer and some food. Inexplicably, this place is one of the most crowded pubs I've been to, definitely in that area. Thought can't understand why because while the beer was good, it takes 45 mins to get anything to eat and that too after standing in a queue to order (only one place you can order!). Non existent vegetarian options and I am told that the fish and chips weren't great either. There a sit down restaurant on site as well but that was full as well. Bottom line, good for a beer with mates; else avoid.

It is located near the Heathrow airport in London,UK.
You can hear and see the aircraft departing from there.

Summer time it is really nice to sit outside if you are lucky to find a table especially if it is a sunny and clear sky.

It is always packed.

Known with his amazing delicious ,big portion food.

I am a frequent customer and I never regret going there at all not even once.

I love the food.

They have nice beer variety and many items on the menu.

If you don't like what ever is there in the menu, you can always have a look at the boards hanging on the walls with the house homemade specials,be careful you might end up looking and going through those specials many times before you decide what to order.

Staff are always busy,I never seen them once walking slowly or taking it easy, this place it is like a beehive literally.

Things get better even on weekends, a DJ will be playing there as well so you better be there as early as possible so you can order and find a table if you wish to eat.

The only bad thing about it is that you have to queue so you can place your order and only one person can take your order, you might have to wait around 20 minutes and sometimes even way more than that if it was really busy just to order.

But believe me, it is really worth the wait even if u become tired of standing for a longtime, just grab a beer while waiting or maybe sometimes you can make them two beers hehehehe

You will never be disappointed at all this I guarantee you.

Just loved the ambiance felt like an old world Victorian charm. Food was completely awesome. Worth every penny. Loved everything around in there. You need to place an order and pay upfront, then you are handed over a wooden spoon with a number written on it and you're set. The food quantity is very good, you better have an appetite for good food.
I ordered for Homemade Chicken Mushroom Pie with mashed potato and peas. The moment I saw it I fell in love with it. The next order I placed was Chicken Burger with potato wedges and I was taken aback with the crispy texture of the chicken in it.
All in all an awesome place to hang out and eat. The staff was very helpful and smiling. The person who served me had a good sense of humour.
I will surely visit this place again and recommend it to my family and friends.

This place has a great indoor and outdoor seating area. Do try the chefs special, they are usually superb. They serve huge portions of food. They have a good variety of draught beers. All in all a great place to spend an evening.

Outstanding dish was the Lamb A+ Portions are massive but can't leave without Dessert: Creme Brûlée, Profiteroles and Hot Chocolate Fondant with Ice cream and Fruit Salad no winner each dish is fab! Overall excellent food, HUGE portions and we leave STUFFED!!

A trip to London is never complete without a visit to a pub. The word pub is short for Public Houses and has been a traditional establishment in Great Britain. This is where the community gathers in social settings and where alcoholic drinks are served. T

A small restaurant with a lot of activity happening in a quiet locality. The first time I tried finding it I almost felt I am lost. The food is quite good here, though I went here a little while ago. The fish n'chips and the Shepard's pie are easily my favorite. Good place to hang around for a few drinks and dinner. Would recommend it to anyone in the Heathrow area.

Such a brilliant restaurant/pub with a beautiful interior and excellent service from the moment you enter through the door. The menu is extensive and offers a range of dishes, which would cater for even the pickiest eater.

If you are boarding a flight in or out of Heathrow Airport, I would recommend stopping off for some classic British pub grub.
