Exceptional sushi. Nice presentation and high quality made fresh in house. Staff were friendly and welcoming and able to assist with menu recommendations and suggestions. Wait time wasn't long for service and food comes to the table in an "as its ready" fashion. We had an early doors table so the restaurant was a little quiet, however people I was with stated when its busy its a very good atmosphere inside Would definitely recommend, well worth 5 stars.

We went here one evening without booking but we’re still able to be seated. The food was unbelievable, genuinely some of the best Japanese cuisine I’ve ever eaten, and the staff were really friendly and attentive. I will definitely be returning the next time I’m in Harrogate, but I’d suggest booking to not have any kind of time restraint as it gets busy.

The food here is delicious, wonderful quality sashimi! The service is great, the menus are clear and extensive. The atmosphere was slow at the start but it got busy around 8pm. One of our dishes was slow to arrive, but they gave us complementary miso soup to make up for it! What wonderful service. Can't wait to come again!

Amazing food! 3 of us shared 2 mains and 3 sides was perfect, Sushi was delicious really flavourful. Tempura was best we've ever tried and it was really interesting trying mochi for the first time. Never knew dishes could have so much flavour genuinely perfect can't fault the food or the lovely service and atmosphere

Popped in without a booking on a Friday night but was still able to find a table. We chose to sit outside due to the nice weather which added perfectly to the atmosphere. Our waitress was super friendly and chatty and made us feel very welcome. We were also provided with some great recommendations for what to pick. Would advise you try a little bit of everything and I will definitely be returning soon :).

Just a quick review before I forget…..because it really was THAT good! Amazing food, my favourites being the yellow fin sashimi, soft shell crab and the beef fried rice. Service was exceptional. Friendly but also super efficient and professional. Only visiting so not likely to be back but I would definitely make the effort if I was back within 100 miles! Oh….the mango mochi and black nikka whisky to finish was fantastic. Not had the bill yet but I know it won’t seem expensive considering the food and experience Just had the bill…..25% less than what we had guessed. 11/10

Best Japanese food I've had! I'm not local and it's so good I make a point to come in every time I'm anywhere close. The food seems pricey at first glance but actually you get plenty and the ingredients are very high quality. Service is perfect, they take your order then leave you alone unless you need something - no awkward hovering. It's very small inside so I'd recommend booking but 100% recommend!
