We had a very enjoyable Sunday Roast here. The food was excellent and the service was prompt and friendly.
Although it was excellent, it gets 4 stars because it isn't the best in Harrogate but its certainly up there.
Had an amazing Sunday roast, with a soup to start!
Service was great and staff were super welcoming and friendly.
Highly recommend it does get busy so best to book!
It wasn't my first, or last, visit to the Tannin Level. It's a well established restaurant, with a great reputation.
The atmosphere has an almost romantic feel, with thoughtful lighting throughout. Despite being on the lower ground floor, it felt spacious. However, it can get a bit loud when it's b
Exceptional food. Visited this week and wow. Yorkshire on a plate is 100% achieved here. We love fine dining and this was well up there. Cannot wait to go back. Service was fantastic, lovely people, superb portions. The trio of pork was out of this world....no exaggeration!! You must visit, parking
From the moment we crossed the threshold the service was exceptional. This place has a lovely warm and welcoming atmosphere, no trashy music, just a lovely hum from the diners enjoying their evening.
The choice of food was fantastic, making it a difficult decision but everything that was served was
A very welcoming place. The staff friendly and the food excellent. Full of flavour and good sized portions. The atmosphere was warm and the restaurant clean and tidy. Will return on another trip to Harrogate. Highly recommend.
We're fortunate to have numerous good quality restaurants in Harrogate, but The Tannin Level, which is independently owned, is on another level. The restaurant has a lovely relaxed atmosphere, the staff and service are consistently good and the food exceptional. The chef is clearly very talented and
Fantastic lunch meal for my wife's birthday. First time visit and would highly recommend.
Superb service, very attentive and helpful.
Lunch menu was very reasonably priced.
January mid week when we visited so fairly quiet.
Fairly unpretentious. Front of house staff good, but the waiting staff would benefit from a bit more training and experience; they're trying hard though! Food is good and a nice selection of reasonable wines. It's not fine dining but it's honest dishes done well. Will definitely be back as it's the
A celebratory meal for our Wedding anniversary. We could not have been more pleased with the amazing service and exceptional food .The staff were attentive and the food mouthwatering. This place is worth all of the praise bestowed and glad we made the effort to travel and book . Scallops melt in you
Absolutely outstanding food - the mixed platter starter is fantastic, the fish, the fish cakes, the paté, the chorizo, etc, 10/10. Gorgeous beef main course, meat flaky and tender. Great service. Reasonably priced for the excellent standard of food and service. Highly recommended.
Excellent food, they only serve 175 ml wine glass which is always known as a medium and 9.50 for a rioja which is very expensive, they refused to serve drinks in the back room as the card machine does not work, either ask for cash or ask to add it to the bill do not leave guests thirsty. The waitre
Thank you so much for a lovely evening on Saturday. The food was excellent and your staff so friendly and helpful. We will certainly come back the next time we are in Harrogate and would recommend you to any friends visiting.
Great decor and great food. I could have picked at least three starters and three mains. The staff were very good - the hospitality industry being as it is at the moment, you could see they were rushed off their feet but still provided an excellent service.
Had a great time here. Food was exceptional and the staff were all great. Highly recommended
The family had a wonderful lunch - this was our Christmas celebration and it did not disappoint - all three of us had different starters and mains and all the dishes were beautifully presented and totally delicious.(goat cheese crème brûlée, French black pudding, Scallops followed by Duck, Cod, Lamb
Had dinner here with friends, of which two are vegans.
The vegans had the risotto with beetroot as a main. I think that £17 for a portion of beetroot risotto was pricey. It was eaten very quickly.
Tannin level is a nice restaurant but pricey.
One of Yorkshires outstanding restaurants- I first visited in 1991- the place, food, service are top quality with a rare informal refinement that is difficult to find. Their produce and preparation is second to one.
