Really good team in the restaurant. Service was friendly, polite (and at times entertaining).
The food was excellent! Nice and hot, beautifully cooked, and tasty!
It's not a big restaurant so it felt a little cramped but to be honest that's a minor negative. Generally there were elder clientele when we visited so it was quiet, not sure if there was a louder table close by if I'd be so happy.

Restaurant is lovely and quaint...I do like the bigger restaurant near the royal baths, but this is by far the best for location and ambience..
Takeaways are also amazing, the food from the kitchen is delicious.. I recently had dim sum (a new hidden treasure), haks special chow-mein and beef curry... if I could give 7 stars I would..brilliant

Amazing food and superb service, would highly recommend this restaurant. The usuals are fantastic but they also have some really tasty, unique dishes - we had a lovely evening and will be returning. If you're in Harrogate it's a must try.

Went in on a Saturday night without a booking but we were lucky to get in. Had a superb meal. So fresh, hot and tasty. The staff were delightful and friendly. Well priced and so pleased to get a table. I would recommend Haks to anyone as it’s one of the best Asian restaurants I’ve eaten at for a long time.

Absolutely the best Chinese food we’ve ever had. We had take out on New Year’s Eve and the place was super busy but the people at the restaurant were excellent understanding and lovely.

We were made to feel very welcome, even though we were their first customers on a cold, mid week November evening. We chose the mixed starter, alongside a selection of dimsum, accompanied by noodles with bean sprouts. The quality of the ingredients really shone through as did the level of care that had obviously been taken in the kitchen. My personal favourite was the Pork and Prawn Siu Ma, which were delicious and bursting with flavour.
