This was our first visit to a Zizzi restaurant, and we were so impressed we had lunch and then came back for dinner. We were on holiday in Harrogate, and this was a quick stop. The waiters on both occasions were lovely, and the food was fresh and tasty!
Exceeded expectations this evening with the best food and atmosphere with family after a bit of a disaster last time , definitely will be back ! Strange smell near the table we were at that's only fault we had , smelt like bins wafting at the odd moments .
Let’s talk Pizza!
Zizzi impressed me with their proper size pizza.
When it comes to vegan pizza I think every vegan can’t let me lie about how hard it is to find a good vegan Pizza.
It’s been a long time since I had a Margarita pizza and zizzi made my day by having a Margherita on the menu.
One pizza each wasn’t the only thing we ordered, as usual we went crazy ordering everything we could.
We ordered:
🔹Garlic Bread: Brushed with garlic and rosemary.
🔹Rustica Vegan Margherita: Made in our signature Rustica style with tomato, vegan MozzaRisella and fresh basil.
🔹Chips: Crispy thin chips seasoned with rosemary & sea salt.
🔹Vegan Meatless ‘Meatballs’: Plant based meatless ‘meatballs’ in a slow-roasted tomato sauce with vegan MozzaRisella.
Everything was 10/10 and not because we were starving because we had zizzi on a different day and it was also delicious.

Wonderful Ambience with tasty food in Harrogate! I am new in town !! But I had a great experience to dine in with Zizzi
Booked to eat dinner here on a Saturday evening so I could use a voucher that was nearing its expiration.
When booking, I was encouraged to sign up for their zillionaires club - I did this & received an electronic voucher for a free garlic bread starter...
They are now card only & all bills are presented on a mini electronic screen, so no needless use of paper there.
The place was really busy with a lot of large noisy groups, but we were soon seated in a quiet booth away from the noise - this was a blessing.
Our waitress was really genuine & friendly, I thought we'd be waiting ages for our food as they were so busy but we were pleasantly surprised by their speed & efficiency.
The food was just amazing & apart from having to correct an item on the bill everything ran smoothly.
I'm definitely eating here again.
Excellent service. Surprisingly good pizza. Very tasty with good herbs and seasoning.
Then a ReVisit in July/2023. Still most enjoyable.
Lovely restaurant very accommodating. Food was delicious, seeing the pizzas being made and cooked in the open wood fire oven was lovely. I had the goats cheese ravioli and it was amazing - would definitely have it again. My husband had had calzone which was a decent sized portion! Food for children was also good. Deserts were amazing I had honeycomb cheese cake (it comes with meringues on top! Happy family all round 🙂
Went for evening meal after a day at NEU conference. The staff were attentive and food great especially as it was washed down with a few glasses of prosecco. Such good value with a TASTE CARD.
After eating here a few months ago and having a negative experience, I decided to try it again and with the family off we trot. What a difference the waiter/waitress made to the whole experience.
Ordered the same as last time the waitress this time didn't even write the order down just remembered it all!!, she engaged with ourselves and our Two little ones.. delivered everything as ordered, customised our experience to suite our needs and got the maths right at the end unlike the previous visit. Just shows places are worth giving another try.. just make sure you get a decent server.
Lovely food with excellent gluten free options. The staff were super helpful when it came to navigating allergies without making us feel awkward or an inconvenience.
