Came here as a child often and didn't come for about 8-10 years up until a family meal in March and then again in October.
Lovely, proper food! Piping hot, brilliant portion sizes, and decently priced!
Deffo gives me more middle aged - old people vibes by the interior and staff, but still a lovely place for a decent meal out :)
Come here every week before watching Harrogate Town and its the first time we have eaten. Had the burger and turkey and ham pie. Delicious food and excellent value. Love this pub.

Staff are kind and understanding (I had my parents with me who both have dementia and are not always easy to please). Food is a reasonable price and excellent quality. Easy access and nice and warm. Will definitely be going again.
Busy pub, good prices on drinks and food. It was local to us as we were staying nearby. We found it much better than some of the reviews we'd read online.
