First of all the food was absolutely delicious every bite released every flavour , the best Indian food I’ve ever tasted .. yummy ... we travelled 45 minutes to get there and it was definitely worth it, the restaurant is stunning and the staff couldn’t be more adorable , thank you to Jess and Jamil who definitely added to the whole experience .. thank you. We will definitely be returning �
Cardamom black is a excellent restaurant the food was exceptional and the service was first class, our waiter, who was arif, added more excitement to our visit making it an amazing first time visit to this highly recommended restaurant and I would certainly recommend this restaurant too.
In my recent visit to Harrogate we been invited to this dinner party at Cardamom Black. Absolutely love the ambiance and staff service. Food was impressive as well. Even their papad chutney tasted good. One of the starters called Petis hits me tho, reminded back home delicacy. Had really great time there. Would visit again to try other dishes👍🏽
Good location town centre. Large but warm open seating area with upper gallery. At 6.30 on Friday not busy and by 8pm quite busy. Food about £15 plate upwards, tasty, flavoursome, good portions of chicken, lamb and beef in buryani. We both thought meals a little hotter, spicier than expected but personal taste. Drinks reasonable prices. Staff friendly. welcoming and efficient.
As soon as I passed the door, I knew that we had to eat there! The scents were intoxicating. The staff was full of smiles. The decor was luxurious. We are gluten free, and they catered to us very well. My girlfriend told me the Pista Korma was the best korma she had ever eaten, and everything was fantastic. I cannot recommend this place enough. I've been twice on this 3 week visit, and when I come back to the UK, I will go again! Jay was superb.
One of the best and what I consider fine dining Indian food in the area. The coriander chutney was very fresh and went well with everything. Highly recommend the firecracker chicken wings, fried perfectly with a nice crispy outside yet moist inside and great but not overbearing seasoning. The tacos were actually the best I've had in Harrogate which was very surprising. Was packed full and the tortilla was a cross between a traditional tortilla and pita, very nice touch. Drinks were done well and staff are very accommodating and give great recommendations.
Everything was absolutely fantastic, we were really well looked after and everything we ate was amazing! Great portions and reasonable prices considering how high standard the food was. We had the lamb shank which was spectacular. The staff were so attentive and made the evening brilliant! Will be back next time we’re in Harrogate

Wandered in to eat alone on business and felt so well looked after, service was second to none. Style is very dramatic! Food was excellent and they even brought out a sauce for me to try. The peshawari naan bread was the best I have ever tasted. I am planning a trip back with my wife specifically to take her here. I wish I could give more than five stars. Absolutely brilliant!
Fantastic experience at Cardamom Black. To enjoy high quality Indian dining in such an opulent setting was a real pleasure and a rarity in the region.
The menu has a large variety of options all of which were appealing. Went for the grilled options which tasted amazing, would highly recommend the prawns and the cheese steak tacos.
Service was fantastic in particular the waiter named Ray was a great lad who really looked after us and made our evening a very enjoyable one. On the whole a fantastic experience and will definitely be back to sample more. Having had some hit and miss experiences eating out in Harrogate Cardamom Black is a must try and hands down the best South Asian food in the town!
This was our first deliveroo from Cardamom Black. The food was amazing! So fresh and flavourful! The best we have ever tasted! Would recommend this restaurant to friends and family!
A fantastic experience. Food is Authentic Indian experience plus a little extra on the side. Extremely accommodating and top service. Highly recommended.
