Called in to get fish and chips today, noticed that it was under new management, so was interested to see if it had changed much.
It has,the fish was outstanding, cooked to order,perfectly, the batter was crisp and not greasy. The chips were nicely cooked.
Up there easily with the best fish and chips I've had in quite a while.
The 2 guys cooking and serving were both very friendly and pleasant. The place was very clean and tidy.
I would definitely recommend and will visit whenever we are in or near Harrogate.

Just re opened today, lovely food, good prices and friendly, welcoming staff.

Fish and chips, fish, chips and large peas = £15-60.
The fish/batter was fantastic, the chips decent, the peas needed a little more flavour and I would class them smaller than a large portion.
Only the small standard forks available so not so comfortable to eat.
The establishment was very clean and the staff were welcoming and polite.
