Bacchus Wine Bar

Bacchus Wine Bar is one of Harrogate's gems. In particular this year's programme of wine tastings are consistently educational as well as entertaining. Phil takes great care in his wine selection and in the detail of their optimum presentation to us. He is well supported by the Bacchus team who not only look after our well-being during the event ( which ncludes delicious charcuterie) but also offer a genuine welcome to first timers and regulars.

I attend every wine tasting session at this great little venue and always have a fabulous evening. The presenter, Phil, is very knowledgeable and chooses an excellent range of wines to sample. The bar staff are quietly attentive and always on hand to provide good service. The recent Lebanese tasting was utterly enthralling and last night's Eastern European session was similarly illuminating. Some unexpected delights from Greece and Georgia! Highly recommended.

This wine/cocktail bar is stunning! I recently went to a cocktail class (which is something new for Bacchus) and the bartender was super knowledgeable and walked you through each step carefully but also made it fun! Mocktails were an option (luckily for me as I was driving) and turned out perfectly - they looked like the real thing! The food was delicious - a selection of cheeses, meats, bread/crackers and the bruschetta was so good! I would 100% recommend going here with friends for a chilled out/classy evening.

Have visited Bacchus for a few different occasions and always had a great time. Often go for evening drinks with family and friends, the bar has a nice atmosphere with a great selection of cocktails and wines. Have also attended one of the wine tasting evenings, which is a must! The staff are really knowledgeable and friendly.
