Promised to go after seeing their show garden at Harrogate flower show. It definitely wasn't a disappointment. Was met by friendly knowledgeable staff. The nature trail was brilliant and we enjoyed it as well as the bird lodge. The amount of different plants and the quality was excellent. Met with one of the tutors who we met at flower show who showed us round the new fruit garden. What a peaceful place will defo be making the journey again it was more than worth it, plus have a small but lovely coffee shop.

Quirky, charming garden centre just off Otley Road, a little hard to spot to well worth the effort. Lovely, relaxed, friendly environment with a nice cafe, gift shop and very reasonably priced plants. Will definitely return!

Enjoyed a nice walk around this morning and bought an indoor plant, quiet today apparently, but lots of busy students replanting and doing construction work in the garden. Lovely site, thanks.

Almost ashamedly, this was my first visit after driving or walking past it dozens of times. The entrance is a little unassuming, with a short single lane access road. However, I was pleasantly surprised. There's ample parking, although it was quite busy when we went. There are a couple of covered greenhouse areas and a cafe with a small shop. It's all level and looked accessible. The types of plants are clearly signposted, so we were able to find what we needed quite quickly. The overall variety looked great and plants were well displayed. We didn't visit the cafe, although it looked good. A generous 5 stars partly due to the great work they do. I'll certainly be returning.

What a wonderful place. This is our go to after a walk round Harlow Carr (shhh) The ploughman's lunch is an absolute must. Great quality of plant in the garden centre and well priced too.

Admirable small garden centre with cafe and outside seating. The menu is currently limited to cakes and snacks until the new students gain in confidence. Well worth supporting and back to 5 star as soon as the menu is back to normal!

This place is wonderful. The quality and price of plants on offer is perfect and the food is beautifully presented and great value for money. We had the ploughman's and although they had run out of pork pies they gave us an option of quiche and I enjoyed it as much if not more. Will definitely be back ASAP.

Lots going on here to see, do, eat and shop. I was lucky enough to catch a live recording of a podcast show which I found really interesting, it was on sustainability- a topic which they seem to pay more than lip service to, this place has a strong sense of doing the right thing for people and the environment. We need more communities like this in the world! Great spot of tea and cake and we picked up some lovely ‘quirky’ (in a good way) gifts from the shop.

A delightful few hours spent at Horticap. The first time I've been. We wandered around the nature trail, had lunch, visited the greenhouses, bought cards in the shop, sat and talked in the shade. A very pleasant time. Looking forward to the next visit🤗
