Actually I’m not one for writing reviews. Perhaps I should, but as a repeat guest to this hotel I felt compelled to acknowledge, share and thank the Hotel for the consistent high standard and attention to detail they give. Gergana (Front Office Manager) and her team go over and above to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible with a special mention and thanks to Norbert on my last visit. As mentioned in previous reviews, a friendly warm hotel with a great team in a great location.

I cannot thank the staff at Hotel du Vin enough, particularly Georgana on the front desk. I had a pinched nerve in my back and couldn't move during my one night stay. The hotel not only made sure I had the same room to stay in for additional nights, but checked in at meal times to make sure I had arranged room service, even went down to the pharmacy to pick up what I needed. They were a bright spot in a terrible situation and I cannot thank them enough for helping in every way they could. Thank you. <3

Great service from very nice and helpful staff. Right in the heart of things and easy access to all the popular parts of town Breakfast was excellent with a great choice. The pain au chocolate were perfect, tasted like they were straight off the champs elysee Only gripe was the room was very hot but there was a small fan

Excellent, helpful staff and great food. A nice spacious dog-friendly room with a massive bed. The hotel even provided a dog bed and water bowl. The only reason I didn't give room 5 stars is because of my wife. It seems, in common with almost all hotels, there wasn't enough light round the mirror and although there were sockets in the right place the mirror was too high for putting make up on. Otherwise excellent and we'll be back in a few months for a week's stay. Special mention must go to Jerome in the restaurant.

We didn’t stay here so don’t know what the rooms are like. Drinks were amazing although the bar bill was a bit spicy 🌶️

Two night stay for our anniversary weekend, with a really pleasant reception. Breakfast was so-so on the first day, but much better second day. Room was comfortable with an excellent bed, and the housekeeping service for our room was superb! Bed was re-made (even though we didn’t expect it) and everything placed back on the bed in exactly the same position.

Lovely hotel - great decor, nicely laid out reception room, brilliant staff, a courtyard for al fresco dining and drinks 🍷 and nice rooms. We had a room at the front, from which we could see Betty’s Tearoom so the location is very central and ideal if you want to explore Harrogate.

Well managed with easy accessibility. The receptionist is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is also very cleaned with helpful staff all around. Disability access is also available with disabled toilet, bathroom and walkway. The kitchen is excellent with varieties of options to choose from be it breakfast, lunch or dinner. Very good place for weddings or honeymoon or any other events. It’s indeed a 4 star hotel.

My wife and I love coming to any Hotel Du Vin - having ticked Cambridge and York off the list in the last 18months it was lovely to visit Harrogate. A lovely warm/homely feel when you enter to be greeted by smiling staff at the front desk who are more than happy to help (a free room upgrade was also well received). The facilities are great, the room was lovely especially with a roll top bath. The food in the restaurant was delicious with friendly service at the table, no request seemed too much. We will certainly come back in the future, and look forward to visiting other hotels in the same group soon.

A cosy hotel with a warm homely atmosphere. The rooms are luxurious but with a relaxed cottage feel. We ate in the restaurant and thoroughly recommend it. Food, drinks and service were fantastic.

Lovely hotel. Friendly and professional staff. Room was lovely and quiet, bed was extremely comfortable and bath was glorious!!! Food was good but choice was a bit limited and personally I was disappointed by the wine list and the selection of wine by the glass was poor given it was a hotel du vin. Breakfast was lovely but I would prefer the tea and coffee to be freshly made not machine coffee. Overall very good.
