Food is nice and also the staff member is excellent. All the staff members bansi, prachi, nishat anup and anil is very helpful and I loved chilli paneer which is made by Aniluncle.
The Hungry Foodie
Long standing restaurant with a famous Indian Buffet consisting of paneer, pizza, dosa, Mogo, noodles, curries as well as a number of desserts. The lunch time buffet cost just £10.49 which is a bargain considering chilli paneer alone costs this price from the main menu. Fresh food was brought out on occasions but the majority of food does not get topped up until it is close to being finished. This is acceptable for dry paneer dishes but dosa is unappealing after being left for soo long. They have recently changed the decor and the crimson walls and poorly fitted booths are off putting.
Dress code: casual
Cost: ££
Service: Fair and friendly
Ambience: Quiet on weekdays

Went for the Sunday lunch buffet in the early afternoon. The food was fresh and they kept replenishing and were very open to feedback. Service was excellent as they catered to a member of the group that had dietary requirements, all as part of the buffet!
Small complaint was that the price advertised on the window wasn't reflected on the receipt, but I didn't realise until later and it was small difference.

Visited Sakonis recently and it was awesome! Food was top-notch - loved the flavors. Dinal, she was fantastic, super friendly, and knew her stuff.
Diamond Living
A very good variety of tasty vegetarian and vegan dishes, freshly prepared. Popular with families. Will return!

They have buffet offer like 3 times a week which is phantastic.
Adult £9.99 on a Sunday - all you can eat.
However I think it is an offer at the moment because usually they only have on Tuesdays and Wednesdays I think.
Their food and service were great.
I have been there a several times and I would go there again and again.
It is a vegetarian restaurant with many varieties.
The items which I didnt quite like was the soup and noodles.
However you have to try their salad. It is very delicious and different.

BEST PLACE TO HAVE VARIETY OF INDIAN FOOD.

Another great experience at Sakonis. Classic Indian food. All day buffet is a great option and lots to choose from. And lots to choose from the main menu. Pictures to help pick. The interior is quite basic and service is quite simple but food is fast and really good. Had the chili paneer bombay sandwich and aloo papdi chaat.

Once upon a time this place used to be so nice. went last night. absolutely horrible. dirty, lacklusture service and awful food. Dosa wasn't crispy, but a flat chewy and limp (not fresh) chutney void of any coconut. buffet looked horrid waitress kept topping the daal with tap water. tip get staff who know how to wait tables with pride and sack your chefs. Such food is a disgrace. entire evening ruined:(

This place needs serious update. It is no longer pleasant despite very attractive half price deals on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Lack of air conditioning and appropriate ventilation means that the clothing you are wearing are saturated with kitchen odour- need to be taken off as asoon as you are home.
Food ok, however lackn of dignity in transfering food from kitchen to the buffet area can be off putting.
I am no expert in this type of food, all dishes i had were tasty.

Total money waste....will never recommend to any...

Over priced and charged for eating in per person. Not the cleanest of places and not very welcoming and the fly's won't leave you alone.

Good food, good service but I found sitting area very congested. Just to come out for the refills, I had to ask other people, even at the back to get up and give me a space to move out, not that I am a big person but everyone had the same problem.

Buffet food is good but bit pricey for the evening buffet. Would go more if the price was under 10 pounds.

My Father took me last night for the first time. Absolutely loved it. Staff were so friendly, couldn't do enough for us. Food was beautiful. Chilli paneer was out of this world. Will defiantly go again.

After the refurbishment Sakonis Wembley looks really really nice with a modern ambiance. Its much much better than the one in Harrow. My last visit was superb - must tries are the Indo-chinese chips (Warning: Very chilly so I'm gonna request for less spicy next time) and the crispy bhajias! Defo 5/5 but slightly pricey! The buffet also looked amazing with SO MUCH variety but I don't have that big of an appetite ;)

I go to restaurants for a variety of reasons, one thing I do expect is consistency though. Consistently poor or consistently amazing, as long as it's consistent. Sakoni's is hit and miss. About 5+ years ago this place was great. Amazing food, good value (not cheap) and fairly good service.
Recently I have stopped going because it is so hot and miss. In a market that has plenty of competition, I can't justify eating here (unless friends or family are).

I Feel Lied To. Went for lunchtime buffet. Astounded to find 10% surcharge for eating in! I've been buffeting for over 40 years, and understand the term 'buffet' to mean selecting repeatedly from a range of delicacies. Their idea of buffet is that you can select once to fill a takeaway container, and must pay a surcharge for the privilege of eating an initial selection and then returning for more.
All other buffet restaurants I have experienced quote for the eat-in service, and a lower amount for takeaway. This establishment had some good reviews, so I sought it out on a Sunday lunchtime, despite it not giving opening times or prices on its website (hmm - what's a website for again?).
The buffet times and prices displayed prominently on the windows of the restaurant are: lunchtime 12.00 - 15.00 £8.99 and evening 18.00 - 21.30 £11.99. The 10% surcharge for eating in is displayed much less visibly.
I have several objections to this establishment.:
1. It has a website that doesn't give the opening times, prices or extra charging policies.
2. If I'd driven there, I'd have looked at the prices in the window, parked (with all the expense that involves in Harrow), and only then found they wanted to charge me an extra 10 per cent of the bill.
3. The price of a lunchtime buffet is £8.99 plus 10%. I can get an Indian vegetarian buffet in central London (Drummond St. Euston) for £6.99, so it looks overpriced. I didn't taste the buffet - I was put off by the 10% surcharge. But looking at the dishes offered, there were a lot less than at the Euston establishment I lunched in last week.
4. Most importantly, I feel lied to by Sakonis. I looked on its website. It had every opportunity to tell me simply its price structure. Instead it waited until I had arrived outside its premises to disclose a surcharge which is unique in my experience.
I feel lied to in the matter of pricing and advertising, so I cannot trust the food from this company. Avoid!

Good Food. Love their chilli paneer and aloo papdi chaat

Lovely vegetarian food but they are expensive then their competitors still always full
Shaikh_samir78
Costly and Rubbish. First of all its too noisy. Food contains too much of oil and its not upto the standards when you are paying amount of money they are charging. I will certainly not visit it again.

Large portions of good, well cooked, and reasonably priced food served in a no nonsense, friendly, manner. Just the thing to prolong our festive cheer and revitalise our weary palates

As a place I've been going to with family for many years now, I can happily recommend it for other family groups looking for somewhere to eat which will happily accommodate them without skimping on flavour or quality.
My strictly vegetarian grandparents, who will not eat somewhere where meat is also prepared, also happily eat here as they know they can trust the staff, which is nice and makes life a lot easier.
As someone from an Indian family which is expanding into other cultures and tastes, it's important to find restaurants where there is something for everyone, including spice levels, and Sakonis really does cater to that.
The chilli paneer is a must, and we empty the buffet of it every time we go.
Mallika
An extremely hit & miss place.

Have had the dahi bhallas, tikki chaat and bhel poori on days and sworn to only ever go back to Sakonis. On others, it's just off!

Service unfortunately is very slow, the buffet also has its days. Only thing that has been a constant is the paan!
Honest Foodie
My favourite Indian restaurant in Harrow! Great service & polite staff at this branch. Delicious food! You can find everything you could possibly want on the Buffet! Including dessert, Ice cream is always available plus more. Highly recommend their Paneer chili - Yummy!!! Their Hakka noodles is lovely too. Great drinks including passionfruit juice, fresh coconut & faluda! If you're bringing guests who are fussy eaters/dislike spicy food there is always pizza & chips on the buffet too.
