Really good food, but be warned it’s spicier than you’d think. We like spicy food, but the Medium level spicy was too much for us. Great service too.
We went here with an idea of just trying the lamb soup. It was exceptionally authentic as a Chettinad Restaurant in Southen India. We ended up having a 4 course meal.
Whenever we like the food very much, we meet the chef and personally pass on our feedback, and thanks. In this instance when we went to meet the chef (his name is Raghu), he happened to be from the same university where one of our other favourite restaurants in Bristol (Nadu) comes from. Small world!
Highly recommend, and we will visit here everytime we are in Harrow.
Good food and friendly staff. There are SriLankan Lion lager and stout bottles. They use real banana leaf on the dish.
I booked a table last minute and it was confirmed straight away and I’m so glad I did! The manager on duty was really calm and super helpful and explained things really well. We had the chicken rolls with a spicy sambal, seafood devils, plain appam, veechu roti, coconut roti, chicken kari for mains and the coconut jaggery appam (amazing!) and the wattalappam dessert… washed down with one of their lovely arrak cocktails. To be honest we ordered too much but it was all so tasty we couldn’t stop eating
We went for medium spiced everything and it was more than enough for us 🔥(and we love the spice 🌶️)
Price is extremely reasonable and will recommend to my friends and family!
The Devil dish was great. Didn't like much the mutton roll. Curry was also good but portions are small and a bit pricey for £20 to 25 per person. Service was excellent but would prefer water to be served in a glass as opposed to just plastic cups. Overall food was excellent.
It's always a pleasure eating at Trinco Bay! Restaurant is very clean, staff and bar men are super friendly, food and drinks are ALWAYS delicious! I've never been disappointed and I highly recommend a visit.
It was an amazing experience first time in my life I had coconut roti and kothu. it was delicious
Great Sri Lankan food near Rayners Lane. Very popular and busy when we visited. Although we were told the dishes were hot, they are not as hot as you would find in other Sri Lankan restaurants. Reason for not giving 5 star is because portion sizes could be bigger... Nonetheless good quality and tasty food.
Chilled out, great attentive service and most importantly....THE BEST tamil food in London. If you crave a real authentic taste of Eelam with some added class, you won't regret it. Great drinks so good for a boys night but also so relaxed you can bring the family too. Love love love it!!!
Came here with my partner for date night on the off chance and ended up returning with the family for a birthday dinner. Service is great from the staff, very personable and enthusiastic about the food and culture, and willing to help with the menu and assist in food choice. Food is fresh and full of flavour and aroma, cocktails are lovely too. Restaurant gets busy quickly but atmosphere is great. Will be returning.
Visited TrincoBay for a local birthday meal - we were super impressed with the quality of the food; fresh, really flavorful and seasoned to perfection! I wouldn't class myself as a connoisseur of Sri Lankan cuisine so perhaps not the best to comment however it did feel quite authentic.
This is a great local eatery for those looking for either Sri lankan food or something a little different to the multiple Indian restaurants in and around the area.
Not a huge restaurant however it's a decent size with enough tables for a few groups.
I was also impressed with their selection and quality of drinks/cocktails which were prepared with skill and a little magic - definitely a differentiator compared to other local restaurants.
Overall, great food, great service and great value - nothing negative to say, I'll be visiting again!
We recently visited Trinco Bay Cocktail bar & restaurant for a dinner out and it was simply the best. We had Kottu, Soya Rolls, String hoppers & Chicken 65 and those were really tasty and decent portion sizes. The staff were really friendly, respectful & the place was really clean and had a nice ambience. Probably the best Sri Lankan restaurant I have been to in London. Thank you 😊
Really good food. I had the mutton appam, cheese kothu and oreo appams and everything was top notch. Im from Australia but a big fan of Trinco Bay. Cocktails are super as well. Would recommend
Super satisfied with the food! If you like spicy food and a good price, you will enjoy this place. Ordered appams which were super fluffy, with the Trinco Bay special that was hot but perfect for me. The mutton rolls (not photographed) were the star, I really recommended trying these. We ordered some lassi which were the right accompaniment to the fiery dishes. My friend also ordered a dessert cookies & cream appam which was plain delightful.
It was absolutely amazing experience at trinco Bay, the staff were very friendly and attentive. Food was excellent, flavour, the spice and the variety of dishes they provided was just right. Mocktails/cocktails were beautifully presented and tasted very nice.
Could do with a bit more desserts but overall was excellent.
