Review Pooh Corner - Hartfield

Tony Holden
We loved it and had a lovely lunch with a cream tea each to finish. All things Pooh Bear, Christopher Robin and AA Milne. Staff and service were excellent. We were lucky being able to visit mid week on a sunny day. Easy on street parking close by, were seated at a table straight away and didn't wait long for our meal. Thank you.

This is an absolute must for Winnie the Pooh fans and/or afternoon tea lovers! I completely adore this place and have been quite a few times. The newest owners saved the building several years ago from being made into 2 flats! Please go and support them as we wouldn't want to lose it! They have a section which is a mini museum of all things pooh and their afternoon tea is delicious. Best scones I've had in a while! Haven't shared the whole museum parts as it's nicer to go and see it for yourselves.

My husband and I made a trip to Hartfield specifically to visit pooh corner and the local area. We scheduled afternoon tea in advance and thoroughly loved our time there. The tea was lovely, the food delicious, the atmosphere completely charming. It was so special to spend time there. We loved the Pooh-Seum and gift shop! There’s so much love and passion in the place and it’s so evident. Would highly recommend a visit!

Me and my partner had tuna mayo jacket potatoes, and a slice of carrot cake each. They were okay, good portions and came with a side salad. I had the peach iced tea which was very nice! So nice I am thinking of going back especially just to have one. The poohseum was lovely to read up about Winnie the Pooh and the decor was very on theme. The gift shop was charming too and had a nice selection. Overall, it was a wonderful visit and I recommend to any fans of Winnie the Pooh!

Lovely tea room and museum of all things Winnie the Pooh! Lots of interesting information about A.A.Milne and family. Lovely items to buy. Lovely little garden, that you can sit in to eat and drink. One unisex toilet available. Small amount of parking on the main road outside.

Very cute little tea room with Winnie the Pooh memorabilia and the shop on the back. They close at 5 and we arrived at 4:30 but they still kindly let us in. The prices are really good and the cake portion is very generous. Very lovely place to visit, even if it’s just for a cup of tea.

Arrived to the place and started queueing up at the entrance. Long mins went by before a staff member welcomed us, however the waitress was walking in & out in front of us. After being ignored our experience could not have turned out to be better! We were offered a table and we were served in no time. The coffee drinks were tasty. I must mention that I really liked the milk alternative options - you can choose soya/almond/coconut milk. 🙂 and also I was very pleased to see the vegan and gluten free cone/cake/milkshake options. Cakes were on the spot! I had a gluten free apple - sultana slice and bought a banana vegan milkshake for take away. I enjoyed the atmosphere, the speediness of the service, the food & the friendliness of the lady. And of course I liked the Pooh decoration + mood. Everything is all about our loved bear! The gift shop is amazing. Quality Pooh toys. The little museum is unexpected and very cool. 10/10 experience. I wish to return soon.

We didn't eat, as there were 11 of us and they were very busy. An enchanting little museum attached to the tearoom. Part museum, part gift shop. Very small, but very cute. Some lovely vintage and rare Pooh memorabilia on display. The children especially loved the soft toy corner with the over-sized plushies.

I wasn't able to eat here because it was very busy when we were there but it was a beautiful place to visit, and the staff were friendly and courteous, and really, the place was so so busy they all were amazing! We visited the shop and I bought some beautiful earrings. Such a lovely little stop off in a beautiful, quaint little village. As a Winnie the Pooh/Disney fan it definitely was worth the visit, the history on display here was incredible. I don't want to post too many photos to give away the magic of the place (I took loads! 🤭🤣) but if you are a fan it is definitely worth the visit. Very interesting ☺️

Got there around 1pm parking was a bit of an issue as no dedicated parking area, so took a few goes to find a space on the roadside. But glad we did. No wait for a table outside in the courtyard. Waitress was quick to bring out menus. The food was quick to arrive after ordering. Was really good as you can see in the photos. The baked brie wasn't some generic supermarket brand. It was President brie. The bacon brie and cranberry toastie was lovely. For 2 baked brie meals a toastie meal and 3 coffees came to just over £38 so pretty good value for money. There was no rush to leave either. But it does say in the menu at bust times/ days there is a 1 hr time limit. (Which is plenty of time ) I can understand why they have it, as it's not a massive place. Only minor thing was quite a bit of noise from traffic, even with hedging. But not a major issue Definitely worth a visit! Then a 5 min drive to 100 Aker woods to hunt for Pooh bears home. And play Pooh sticks on the bridge.
