I used to love going to Scotts Bakery but they went from $3 for a Patty and Coco bread to $5, that's too much of an increase.

I came all the way from Texas back to my old neighborhood to get a beef Patty, some bread pudding, and the hard coconut candy. The beef patties were awful, and way overpriced. I've been coming to the West Indian bakery since 1982, I Remember when bread pudding was 75 cents, filled with raisins, a few nuts, Cinnamon, And whatever they put in it to make it taste so great. I found 4 raisins in my bread pudding. Talk about skemping on ingredients. I felt ripped off, By a place That was the best at 1 time. It's definitely not the good food from the past.

Always a great Jamaican Patty at Scott's! I had chicken today along with the customary D&G Jamaican Ginger Beer soda. Great combination. I wish they still had broccoli and cheese.

Scotts bakery is a staple of the community. Go ahead and try the patties because you can not go wrong. They have frozen options so you can make them at home too. Stop by you wont regret it

Driving down the street the art attracted me and seeing The positive for those who call hartford home.This bakery has great tasting Jamaican food. I have tried their beef patties, spinach and cheese loaf, and ackee and saltfish loaf, gizzada(coconut spiced cookie) EVERYTHING was amazing . The staff was very friendly and great service.
