Great place. Had a small lunch and the portions were very sizable and tasty. Staff were friendly with great customer service. Rock music playing was a bonus! Great looking pub too with an awesome outside area and huge car park. Even had a draft beer that apparently rotates. Will definitely be returning here again. Top notch establishment.

Excellent service and delicious fresh homemade pub food! Very big portion sizes and reasonably priced. Bathrooms were spotless. Can’t fault anything and will definitely be back!

Visted Sunday 22 Oct 2023 with family including 2YO grandson and had fantastic time. Everyone enjoyed food. Easy access for high chair they povided and tables are not packed together. I had the mixed grill which was great and doggy bagged half for supper. Will be going back.

First time here. Had to try the mince and dumpling! Absolutely gorgeous. My son and his girlfriend had the parmo and the chicken was so juicy (cos they let me try it 😁) The portions are huge! Def recommend! X

I visited as part of a group of 8. Seated & served drinks as soon as we arrived by a lovely member of staff who took care of us all night. The food was absolutely delicious and arrived in great time even with a full restaurant. The atmosphere was very warm and cosy and the staff were all really great. Will definitely be recommending and returning!

Our first visit and it was great. Don’t order the large parmos unless you are very hungry.
The bar and beer garden areas are both “dog friendly”.
Nice to see Marston’s Pedigree and Banks Bitter both on tap.

Excellent food and excellent service in what was a very busy time for staff. Both our starters were top quality my wife's Prawn Cocktail was a good size and she said it was gorgeous my hot and spicy chicken wings with a blue cheese sauce were also lovely. My Salmon and prawns were cooked to perfection as was the mince and dumplings my wife had.

Food was slow in coming, not busy at all in the pub so were not expecting such a long wait. Chips were lovely, parmo was really nice at one end and overcooked the other. Seemed like it had been microwaved? Salad was very mean, barely enough to share. When asked if everything was OK, we said yes, but feel it was ok, not amazing. Husband was disappointed since it was my birthday treat.

Had a meal here last night and it was excellent. I had Chicken Piano with delicious homemade chips with fresh cut salad and it was just perfect. My wife has the Gammon with new potatoes and they even poached for her egg for her at her request and again with fresh cut salad. The staff and the service we both received was also excellent and very polite and efficient.
Based on our experience we can most definitely recommend this pub for a lovely evening meal and drink. 👍😉

I was very disappointed with the food I have received, I asked for a steak medium and it came over cooked to the point it was well done. I asked for it to be changed and the same happened. I ended up leaving my food and leaving the pub still Hungary with an expensive bill. However the staff were pleasant and the mussels to start were very tasty.

We had a burger (me) and my partner had the mini parmo. My burger was absolutely unreal, I had the breakfast burger easily one of the best I've ever had, and I do like a burger. I've had the mini parmo before and my partner also said it was the best she'd ever had. I used to think the white hart was my favourite pub for food, I have a new favourite 😀

Had Sunday lunch today. It says outside reservations only so I went in and asked in any tables and the lads gave us one.
The food was delicious loads of it and well worth the money. Really fresh and service was quick. Will maybe get a smaller portion next time so I can try the deserts.

I go to the spotted cow quite a lot! The staff are amazing and couldn't do anything more for you, the food is amazing and the quality of the food as well as the pricing is overall really good. One of my favourite places 💕👏🏽

At the time I thought that the food was pretty good despite being a tad pricey. I decided upon the mixed grill
7 hours later however began my first of 12 visits to the toilet starting from 23:00 until 11:00 the following day, stomach cramps and feeling of weakness all over my body. It must have been the food from here as it was all I've had to eat. Very disappointed to have apparently picked up food poisoning.

We had lunch yesterday and we were made very welcome; we are on holidays locally. Our two dogs were welcomed (rather than just tolerated, as compared to some other places we have visited) in the bar area. The food portions were huge, so be careful not to order too much. The staff were very friendly. We will be visiting again when in the locality.

Well we went for a cool drink in the sunshine as we've driven past this place a hundred times and always commented on how nice the village green looked, sooooo we did. Fabulous chips.. 👍🎉

Went for a late lunch / early tea yesterday and the food and service were brilliant. I had the parmo from the lite bites and can honestly say it was the best parmo i've had and the chips were amazing. Also for a lite bite i couldnt finish it. My boyfriend had the breakfast burger and also said it was amazing. The girl serving was polite and friendly and the facilities were great, i had my 2 week old baby with me and it was great to find clean toilets with baby changing facilities
