Popped in for some food and must say was beautiful, had the wings and mixed grill and was perfect . The staff seem lovely and friendly. Would recommend this place highly

Great pub for a quick bite to eat and to watch the sport. TVs everywhere you look and a huge one outside too. Great selection of beers and spirits, always something to suit everyone’s tastes. Same with the menu, large and covers all bases - I had the sausage flatbread today and it was gorgeous!
Good deals on shots. Manager was lovely and friendly so fab service. Thank you for making our day as good as it could be. HUGE beer garden out the back which I had no idea about and I've been coming here for years!
Won a voucher for £20 at a recent village fete , I had a mixed grill and a pint of lager. Food very good, I ate the lot. I went Wednesday afternoon very quiet.
Great local pub, good all round to be honest and me and my family go here often, It has a seated sheltered outside area with very large TV and good sound system, it's also got heaters for winter months, outside there is also a large beer garden with traditional picnic style benches, all outdoor area
Food was very good. I did previously leave 4 stars and since my experience yesterday with staff members I have decided to now leave a 5th star... only advice I would give is the menus are sticky and parts of the table are too- however you can tell they are wiped down but not all edges are fully wipe
Such lovely food and great price, hats off to the server(Asian woman) the hardest worker I think works there, the rest of them keeps hanging around amongst themselves chatting, not the first time I've seen this here,otherwise great place.
Nice place. Staff are friendly and the atmosphere was good. Good selection of beer and they have a very handy powerbank rental.
Sports bar looks good, but I didn't drink in that bit.

I took my family for a meal / snack into the Travellers Rest this afternoon and wasn’t disappointed. The food is superb, hot and quick to arrive , 👏👏 eaten in a pub with a lovely atmosphere and friendly people. I have recently moved into Hartlepool and will be using the Travellers Rest regularly 👍
