1st time visiting here and it was fab. Staff were so polite and helpful. Food was amazing. Drinks were nice. Overall ambience was perfect. Will definately be visiting again. Would highly recommend.

We recently held a wake at Ego at the Fox following my father in law's funeral. The staff were very friendly, helpful and professional from the outset. The booking process was very easy and arrangements on the day were excellent. The quality and quantity of the food was very good. Thanks to all at Ego for making such a sad day a little easier for us.

Friendly efficient staff. Good menu choice. Sunday lunch meal deal looks good. Mushrooms and pate starter nice. Quite pricey for what you got. Then chicken piri piri and chorizo hanging kebab (blurred pic) which came with 2 tortilla wraps and the BF had the fillet steak. All very lovely. Will definitely return to try the Sunday lunch. Nice tidy and spacious restaurant and down to earth waiters.

Taken here by some friends we were visiting and it was our first time here. It was amazing. Food great and lots of it. Service brilliant and the atmosphere lovely, you could tell everyone enjoying their time here. It certainly was a lovely evening with our friends. Will come again next time in the area.Andrea

I has a quite spectacular experience! My husband took me for my birthday dinner. I had a entire vegan meal and it was to die for! The service was on point and the ambiance was homey, comfortable and beautiful! I loved it!

Six of us went for my daughter's birthday and had a lovely time. Food and drinks came to about £230, all enjoyed the food. I had a sharing platter to start and mixed grill for main, both of which were good. Service was prompt and friendly. Plenty of vegan and vegetarian options.

First time visit to this establishment. Lovely surroundings, welcoming friendly staff providing quality service and excellent food choice. Try it you won't be disappointed.

Great for coeliacs extensive gluten free menu. Food always hot and taste and have tried quite a few dishes I have never seen before. Delicious desserts as well.

Very cosy place in Haslington … great resto bar to eat or drink something.. they have live band in the night.. very cool place! Ill recomend prawns with garlic!!! They have happy hour in the night 5 stars!

Called in for a late lunch today and chose from the fixed price menu, absolutely lovely. Food, service and staff all fantastic together with superb decor even the restrooms are worthy of a picture. Highly recommend this for any occasion great value and quality, will definitely visit again.

Haven’t been here for a while but we were really pleased with the whole experience. The portion size and the overall quality of the food was very good. Emily our server was absolutely fantastic and only made the experience a better one, please pass on our sincere thanks. 👍

Absolutely lovely evening. When we were seated we were attended to promptly food was out quickly. My mixed Kebab was cold and mostly veg not really worth the money. The service was spot on. We had a lovely evening thank you ...

What can I say except wow. Ego restaurants are great overall however The Fox in particular, is very good. Great place for casual or special days out and great for a treat for birthdays, etc. Always a friendly, warm welcome with a great choice of beers and wines. Well worth joining club Ego as you get promotional vouchers and a free meal on your birthday. Great place, visit today!

I've been here twice in as many weeks and I've got to say it is absolutely fantastic. Great food and exceptional service. A couple of weeks ago myself and my partner came for date night and the food was amazing and staff attentive. Today we were there for a not so wonderful occasion (a wake) the spread they put on was fantastic, they looked after us all and made the celebration of a great man to happen in comfort with the area we were in being a lovely space away from the other customers. We had a lovely afternoon on the visiting day with the family and had the most amazing time. The food was delicious and the customer service was spectacular. Also good choice of menu and catered to all different dietary needs. Would recommend to anyone and well done Fox!

Had the most delicious meal last night . My partner , who never really enjoys English meals out , was very impressed with the flavour of the King Prawn starter and Sea Bass . The staff were extremely polite and helpful and looked happy 😊 I would highly recommend you sample the food and ambience yourselves, we will definitely be paying another visit soon ! Well done Ego !

We went last night to celebrate my Birthday. It was a marvellous evening, with delicious food, great cocktails, wonderful atmosphere, and very efficient and friendly staff. It wasn't my first visit, and certainly won't be the last.

Amazing menu and food was fantastic - I enjoyed the cocktails too!! Service was very slow - we waited over half an hour for our table and we sat waiting for both courses for ages. A couple of food choices were not available - we were kindly offered a free round of drinks. We will be back as great value for money - I hope service gets better as you were not over full last night.

Went yesterday for family meal . Food quality very good and service good. Decor was perfect. The only thing was my meal was missing apple sauce and greens and I think the roast potatoes could of been crisper and tapas could have had serving spoons for sharing. BUT this is very minor things looking forward to returning soon overall very impressed. Thanks Jamie Hodkinson
