Cafe Maroc - Hastings - Photo album

An impressive warm and welcoming Moroccan restaurant. Set in amongst antique shops in Hastings old town this is the type of restaurant that serves great food and doesn't shout about it. We were warmly greeted by the owner and given a choice of sitting in the main cosy restaurant area or next door in
Simple menu, Incredible food. Highly recommend. Lamb and apricot tagine was perfect, lamb was super tender. Ginger cheesecake was a highlight! I would go back just for this, no I WILL go back just for this! Just needs an open window or a fan as the restaurant is super hot.
Sweet little Moroccan restaurant in the Old Town. Has a very strong family-feel, so friendly and welcoming. The menu is also small, but that's not a criticism: it's focused rather than limited. The food is generous and gorgeous, and very reasonably priced. I managed 3 courses: houmous & olives, lamb
I telephoned a couple of days before New Year to see if they would be open that evening. They wasnt sure at first but then confirmed that yes they would be open, and we were soooo very happy there were! We had a table of 4 people and we all shared a mixed starter of everything on the menu. Gave u
Not to be missed- truly a gem and 100% will go back! Stayed in Hastings overnight before a holiday and booked Cafe Maroc. Having travelled from Bristol, we were not disappointed! We did walk past the door initially but google maps puts us back on track. The restaurant is cosy with about 30 seats a
Lovely little place. Opening hours are limited and not that many spaces, so get there early or book well in advance. Great selection of delicious food. Sometimes I think some of the items on the menu are a little overpriced. Authentic, delicious food.
Cafe Maroc was a pleasant surprise! This little Moroccan cafe won my heart with its tasty food and very polite and friendly staff. I ordered a Chicken and Spinach Tangine which smelt and tasted delicious. I also tried Moroccan coffee and mint tea which were both very subtle yet has a nice effect on
Walked past when it was closed, with the door open and the aroma was enticing. Stopped and booked for tonight. Normally, we have one course but the starters intrigued. One goat's cheese salad with odd sprinkles of pomegranate seeds and salad; and a minced lamb kebab with aromatic salad, anointed wit
Amazing, amazing food (would recommend the humus starter and the shakshuka main) in a perfectly cosy and authentic atmosphere, accompanied by faultless service. Only open a few days a week so often busy but worth the wait/booking in advance!
Fantastic little quirky place. The menu is limited but this is what makes it so appealing. Authentic Moroccan food and genuinely friendly owners. Highly recommend.
I will be returning.. it's a BYO and the food is delicious! Lamb tagine with almonds and apricots is my choice
Great food, great ambience, great people. Can't fault it. Loved the whole meal.
