The Master Fish Bar - Hastings - Photo album

Food was incredible. First time we have tried and honestly some of the best fish and chips we have eaten… and we have eaten a few! We sat outside on the takeaway tables… lovely spot in the September sunshine… although the young ladies serving need to learn ‘service with a smile’…
A quick day visit in Hastings. Close to the beach front so we walked in for a quick bite. The restaurant was quiet considering it was 3pm on a Thursday afternoon. Service was quick and food was severed soon after we ordered. I had scampi & chips which were cooked nicely and a big portion. I'm not a
I had the large fish and chips with curry sauce as a side order. Ordered a Bulmers, thinking I would get a great beer. It was cider...The fish was good and so was the chips. Too bad it was so hot and noisy indoors Asked if I could sit outside, but that was not possible.
After a hectic weekend camping close by and everything packed away, we needed something to fill our hungry tummies. Very quick and considered service; we went for traditional cod and chips with mushy peas. Kids were very satisfied with sausage and chips and we had a side of curry sauce to appease ou
Stopped here during a car club drive out. Good menu choice. Food cooked to order, so given buzzer to signal its ready. Loads of table benches outside overlooking the sea. Very tasty - forgot to take pic until halfway through eating!
Really lovely fish and chips. Great service and food arrived quickly. Had read previous reviews, looking for gluten free and was very pleased. They even had gluten free vinegar. Would definitely recommend 😊
Great food cooked fresh. Access ramp for prams and buggies. Nice food and was reasonably priced for being right on the sea front
Quick Summary; We've eaten here twice now and we have to admit, it's incredibly expensive... But there are very few places that offer gluten and dairy free cod and chips and even fewer that offer a nice one and that's where this place excels! Detailed Summary; I eat both but am trying to cut down
Very nice food even though the large cod appeared medium compared to other places. Also found it more expensive than other fish and chip shops in the same area. Waitress was very good, checking that our food and service was ok. Food delivered quick and nice clean restaurant. Overall happy with food
It's a good old fashioned chippie. Dark wood tables and chairs etc. My wife is Gluten Free and her haddock looked every bit as tasty as my non GF version. Chips lovely just a nice place to eat fish and chips.
Really great fish & chips with pretty much some of the best curry sauce I've had! An excellent choice of fried & grilled fish with a great choice of specials & fresh catch of the day. Would definitely recommend it. My photo is of the Haddock I had which had the perfect batter.
We arranged to bring a large group of people with special needs to the the restaurant on a recent Sunday. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Although you were very busy we were served very promptly and staff were very friendly and helpful. Thank you
Amazing service. Despite busy lunch time, the food arrived quickly and was fresh, waiters were really sweet and helpful. Came here because of the cod and chips in the gluten free menu and it did not disappoint. There’s even gluten free vinegar :)
