Dropped in to escape the rain at this very popular and aptly named cafe. Was extremely busy and had to queue to order for 10minutes but settled down in a seat for lovely coffees. Very smart large bakery cafe. Good coffee. The staff were very nice - it was obvious that they get quite a few regulars here, and the staff knew names and regular drink selections. Recommended on the way to the train station.
It serves a real 'large' cup of coffee! Why do so many other coffee shops refuse to follow Costa and Starbucks, and give huge cups like they do? The staff were friendly and attentive, and there are views outside all around. The cake was good too. Recommended.
Often pop in for a latte and cake, always served with a smile and a how are you today? Mel and her team work hard to ensure the cafe is clean, tidy and service is efficient! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and shall be returning soon.

Well when my late wife and our children lived at st leonards on sea i used to buy there fantastic sausage rolls,and i have since been there to hastings on the bus bought more i love them,my daughter and her husband are here for 9 days so this moirning they going to or have bought me 6 sausage rolls,
Friendly staff, very clean cafe with a lovely shaded area outside, one side smoking, one non-smoking. The coffee was lovely, would definitely go back again!
Do amazing mochas and love that they have an option for cream and marshmallows on mochas
