Java Coffee Lounge - Hastings - Photo album

Beautiful gem of a place love the design of books 1940 s music and vibe and style and stained glass window had a salmon bagel cappuccino and olives.
Unique atmosphere, books all around you. Clean tables and a friendly staff. Service is quick as well. I loved the classic music as it matched the mood the place puts you in. However, I didnโ€™t like the coffee (black americano) the taste was more of a burnt coffee beans and I hope this would improve.
Quick pit stop while visiting Hasti g in torrential rain. Lovely tea with yummy cake.
Hanushka George Street has got a good vibe, it's one of the few places open early in the morning and offers good coffee. Love all the books, which you can take with you for a donation. Always friendly service. Recommend!
Popped in for a salmon bagel (heavy on the cream cheese and lacking salmon) excellent oat latte and black coffee though. Cosy place to sit, a mixture of sofas and tables and chairs. Friendly staff and plenty of space. Would make a great spot to host a meeting / small function even.
This is the place any town needs magic full of care and love for beauty! Surrounded by tons of books it's the perfect cosy retreat after a long walk day around or simply to seat down and enjoy a nice hot chocolate!
Very cosy establishment with a nice staff. In addition the furnitures are absolutely gorgeous. The food is great and not too costly, would definitely recommend!
Lovely little cafe, very kind and helpful staff, nice atmosphere and good quality food and drink.
What a lovely cafe with lots of books. Just 1 staff less as staff didn't seem friendly ๐Ÿ™ . But food was great - cheese and salami panini for me which was delicious. My daughter had a chicken caesar salad, huge and excellent value for money.
Lovely atmosphere. Relaxed and comfortable. Great food for brunch with family. Didn't feel rushed. Definitely recommend ๐Ÿ‘Œ
Great little eatery in the heart of Hastings old town thatโ€™s full of charm and comfy cosy Corners, the cakes and coffee are good plus the Staff are very pleasant ๐Ÿ˜Š
Very cosy location, great atmosphere and very popular. Meager selection of cakes and coffee is so so. Service is by a Cadre of young girls who do a good job although they get pushed when it is busy so you may have to wait a few minutes for your beverage
Located on a quiet street full of cute little shops, this coffee shop is a beautiful place to have a break. Waiters came to us as after we sat out the front and were quick in bringing our drinks. The inside had walls of books and the windows were also lined with them.
Excellent coffre, lively place to read or watch people passing by
I should start by saying there are two Hanushka coffee houses in Hastings and both are wonderful. Books on the walls are far as the eye can see, take one with you for a small donation. Lovely staff, delicious food and it feels authentic. Why would anyone head to a chain when you have a place like
Cool coffee shop , nice bunch of polite friendly young girls was working on Sunday. ordered 2 oat lattes good prices for the size we came back in the late afternoon to grab another latte and a hot chocolate and sat outside in the sun as it had got warmer to listen to the buskers . Really nice. Ps
