Well what can I say this place is on fire like my arsehole in the morning after a Ruby Murray , top place, staff are amazing & the curry even better. Never left the place in a bad mood, spot on my son.
The best Indian in Sheffield by far. The front of house staff are very friendly and welcoming and the chefs cook the most mouthwatering food. Such a great atmosphere and location is perfect.

You will be not be disappointed with your food or experience at this place! As a curry lover I always stick to my favourite place but working away you never know what you’ll get. This place was a great find.

I went to this restaurant to celebrate my friend birthday and friends wedding anniversary. From the get go staff were just lovely. I was able to drop off birthday cake in advance and they made a big fuss when the cake came out and everyone sang happy birthday to my husband The food was of excellent quality and cooked to perfection. I would highly recommend this restaurant not just for the food but the ambience and friendly staff. Great night out, thank you!

Dont believe everything that you read. Like an earlier reviewer, I am suspicious of reviews that are the total opposite of the bulk of reviews for an establishment. An ulterior motive? Tried Sangams for the first time last week. The young man who initially served us was very quiet-shyness? From then on the manager served us and he was the perfect host. The food was excellent. The chicken in the jalfrezi was some of the tastiest that I have had in a curry. If you like surprises, have the vegetable samosas-honestly. The curry was stuffed with chicken and came with an enormous naan. We had already had poppadums and a starter. I finished the curry and left a scrap of naan. When the manager came to clear the table, he congratulated me on my appetite saying that I had passed the test! Please note that the jalfrezi comes mild, medium or hot. I went for the medium and was disappointed at the mildness of the curry. We have just moved to Hathersage and I am delighted to have Sangams as my local curry house.
Takeaways good. We get takeaways from here frequently. Never disappointed.

Is the decor dated,yes but that is due to it being in keeping with local cottage style rather than traditional Indian which would look out of place.

One of the best thing happened for us in peak district. The food was awwwwww. We enjoyed a lot. The taste was like home. Loved the service too. All the gravy were so good.

Really good food in very big portions. Excellent service and reasonable prices. Well worth a visit - easily walkable from North Lees Camping Site.
The food was incredible and staff were friendly, we sat in to eat but had to leave before our mains came out, asked to have it as a takeaway instead and they were extremely accommodating and it wasn't a problem at all. We would definitely come back if we come to the area again and I'd recommend this place to anyone 😊

The best Indian food we’ve had for years!
Visited Tuesday evening - didn’t book but easily accommodated in the lower small dining area (don’t know why as there were tables available on the ground level.)
Menu is varied and with good descriptions. All can be cooked mild, medium or hot and there were great vegetarian options too. Then there was the fish section!
If truth be known, when we searched online I already knew I wanted the Tandoori Trout - so rarely is this dish offered in restaurants, and I wasn’t disappointed, it was cooked to perfection. The bed of salad (crunchy white cabbage and cucumber / tomatoes) was just the right accompaniment.
I never know what Pete will chose as his choices are so eclectic… he careers across the gamut of spicy dishes, from jalfrezi to rogan josh and back again! Literally just those two, never wavers, never wants to be disappointed.
He chose chicken jalfrezi and to my surprise, mid-feast he proclaimed that he’d ‘have no trouble choosing anything else on this menu - I know I would enjoy them all.’ This is gushing praise indeed and marks a possible shift to a more adventurous Indian dining experience for us both…
Delicious curry house, really enjoyed our evening the food was delicious! It was bank holiday Thursday and it turned out to quiet busy with only 2 staff but they did a great job and still super attentive. 10/10 would recommend!
We were made to feel very special, great attention to detail food was excellent and tasty. If I was a local I would be back time and again. Well done keep up the good work you deserve success.
