This was a great find en route to the peak District!
Be sure to put your reg in at the counter so you don't get a fine.
Food was good with nice portions.
Service is at the counter only.
Lots of parking and a truck back too with car and truck wash facilities!

It's probably 25 years since I last stopped here, much has changed for the better I may add 👍🏼. Bigger, brighter and spotlessly clean. Good food and friendly service. 4 ⭐ only cause early closing (7pm) and no night toilet facilities. Other than that I'd use again 👍🏼👍🏼

A legend in the cafe world around Derbyshire. In the 20 years I've been going in when I'm in the area, I've never had a bad meal or service . This place deserves heritage status.

First visit here, don't pass all that often. A perfectly satisfactory breakfast, decent size, cheap and a wide menu selection. But it is a greasy spoon so you don't find any hipster salads or the like! Service fast and staff friendly
P.s They stop serving breakfast at 11:30 and they accept cards as well at cash
Popped in for a cuppa and ended up having lunch! Really good food and excellent value - Very clean Cafe and Loos - Nice cheerful ladies cooking and serving - Would definitely recommend
