The Eight Bells Country Pub And Kitchen - Hawkhurst - Photo album

Popped in on the off-chance and had the most fantastic meal (so good I stopped taking photos!). Lovely staff, fab food, nice vibe/mix and close to Bodiam Castle
Second time coming for Sunday lunch at this lovely pub. Last time was just under 2 years ago and it was just as good this time around as the first time. If not better as the baby is now a toddler and I could eat my lunch using both hands! Very family friendly atmosphere and helpful staff. You can te
Had a really excellent roast beef for Sunday lunch. Perfectly cooked and lots of delicious fresh vegetables. Also extremely friendly service - Charlie is very welcoming!
Most probably the best food I ever had in England. We had rabbit and Steak...very delicious!!!!
Good food, good service and all round nice night out. Make sure you check the specials out. We had steak strops in peppercorn sauce which was likely using up spare stock from the steak night, the day before. But it was great and deserves a more permanent place on the menu.
Beautiful pub in Hawkhurst doing great food with a really welcoming atmosphere. Came in for a quick pint, but the atmosphere was so nice with the fire roaring and cosy chairs with furs as cushions enticed us to stay for much longer than intended. Staff were friendly and service was excellent despi
Really enjoyed lunch here. Friendly staff & great food…..The fish & Chips was delicious, with beautifully crisp batter mushy peas and great skinny fries. . Lovely outdoor space with plenty of tables. There is a large sandpit for the kids to play in. Reasonable sized car park, and nice clean toilets.
Nice pub gardens ordered fish and chips twice at £13.50 each. My partners was fine however mine was overcooked and chewy to one side our food was not checked during our meal or when the plates were collected.
Had a lovely meal here last week. The service was fantastic with a great atmosphere. I had the sirloin steak which was cooked perfectly, the chips were fab and the honeycomb ice-cream for dessert was delicious!
We had a large family gathering here which included a three course meal, designed by the chef to cater for our group. The Eight Bells could not have been more accommodating and the meal was simply delicious! We had such a great day, the food was amazing and the staff were fantastic. Cannot recommend
