Just perfect! I needed a bolt hole to get away for a few days to read, write and compose, and this was just what I needed. Remote location (though with plenty of other people in the complex, even in October) but stunningly beautiful. The apartment (Jane) itself was cosy, charming and extremely comfortable - equipped with everything you could possibly need. I intend to go back as soon as I next have need and opportunity!

The staff were friendly and welcoming. Donna gave us milk from her own fridge for our tea. The views of the moors are incredible and we loved the stone cottage-look of our apartment. Our cabbie took a wrong turn while bringing us to the moors at night, but as a result we met a helpful farmer and his wife. Lovely place--a restful experience all around!

Stayed in the two bedroom flat, surroundings and the view were second to none and the staff were fantastic , always on hand if you needed anything. Would definitely stay here again. Although we did have a slow leak in our water bed, my wife ended up in the wet patch! But above all a fabulous stay :-)

Nice cosy little place, but a very small space. Pros Nice setting, lots of parking. Good quality shower. Cosy room. Donna was helpful as our heating didn't work but she sorted it straight away. Nice gardens nearby for kids to play. Cons: The postcode led us to a farm nearby. Our friends came too in a separate car and they arrived at this same farm like us with their sat nav! Could do with some simple changes which would make it much better. The kitchen knives were terrible and blunt so prob best to take your own. No scourer pad for washing dishes just a metal brillo pad. One of the sofas and cushions was musty and very dated, everyone felt a bit itchy after sitting on this!

For the price, I've not come across anything like it! Have used this place several times now whilst visiting family in East Lancashire and it's always provided spacious and comfortable accommodation for me, the missus and our 3 kids. 😁
