The food was great and not to much on the plates so no waste for us so i think value for money .but could do with a toilet facility in the building .and yes you do have to pay for ketchup .but allways clean and friendly staff.

In my personal experience the staff are always great and helpful we travel 50ish miles and well worth it.

Been dining here for many many years, and although it is a little pricey, I have never had any cause to complain about the food or service, in fact quite the opposite. Tried a chippy up the other end of the prom, and regretted it; food was just awful!

Had lunch here the other day, was the best fish and chips I’ve had in a long time. All cooked to order fish was so fresh and batter perfect. Chips were amazing and freshly cooked. Staff friendly and helpful. Highly recommend
I had just battered cod but I had to disappear to take a phone call... the very nice guy kept it warm for me.
It was a good bit of fish and the staff were all friendly and accommodating
Went on a sunday afternoon. Chips were well cooked and a great portion size. Plenty of salt and vinegar. Well priced wirh a good selection. Plenty of seating outside and tables inside too if you want to sit inside. Very good overall.
Lovely eat in meal of skate and chips, not overloaded with chips and big fish. Not a lot of chip shops cook skate well these days but it was done perfectly - the pineapple fitter not so good. My friend had the cod, said it was excellent, dry, flaky and meaty. Cooked while we waited, great service, lovely food, clean premises. Recommended.
The food used to be very good. I haven’t been to the fair for many years so haven’t been able to give an up to date review. But the food used to be amazing! Therefore I feel the food will still be just as good. I defiantly miss going here for my chips while waiting for the rides!
Ordered 2 cod and chips to takeaway. Staff seemed friendly. The parentals said it tasted great. Open on a Sunday and there’s a car park near that is suitable for my dad who can’t walk far.
Was very surprised how good the food was as a lot of seaside fish and chip shops have gone downhill. But the fish was gorgeous, proper fillet with thick flakes. Great batter too, not too thick and nice and crispy. Chips were good also, as was battered sausage. Would definitely go back if down that way again 👍
Popped in for fish chips on an evening on the beach , had cod and chips , lovely cod in batter and chips were really good , if I’m being picky could have been a few more chips. Don’t have fish and chips often but this was tasty!
Really lovely meal had here, fish was nice and meaty and beautifully cooked and the chips were lovely too! We have decided this will be our new destination fish and chip shop from now onwards, really good service, highly recommend!

Just had one of the best portions of cod and chips in this area that i have ever had, what a lovely surprise!
I used to go to this place years ago, and it was always bad, but after taking a chance this evening, i will certainly be going back again & again!
The meal was freshly cooked to order by a man who is obviously an expert in this area, as the fish was filleted thickly, the batter was golden & melt in the mouth, and the chips were nice and chunky, boiling hot, and excellent value for the price!
I think they are new owners as the food was not like this before, and such a warm and welcoming lovely couple, the lady i don't think can understand much English, but having a lovely smiley face serving you makes all the difference to the enjoyment of your meal in my opinion.
They have a restaurant inside also, which is only 10% more in price to eat in, so i think i will also be doing that another time too, my only hope is that the people in this area do not turn these nice friendly owners into miseries like most places around the Hayling & Havant area in which i normally get served!

For a chippy on a fairground these are excellent. Great portions, expertly cooked, really tasty grub and so reasonably priced. We don't bother with beach barbeques at the end of the day anymore, we just sit on the pebbles and eat from here. Lovely.
Nice and clean. Friendly customer service. Lovely food, piping hot, would have 5 star but not enough salt & vinegar for me. Personal choice but definitely worth a visit
