Cafe Elvira - Haywards Heath - Photo album

Exquisite Café! Lovely setting, rustic and quaint. Plenty of seating...spacious with outdoor seating. I had breakfast; a regular fry-up. Baked beans were served on the side, in a bowl, with fresh parsley sprinkled on top. My perfectly poached eggs also had fresh parsley sprinkles. I had gluten

Lovely atmosphere, delicious food, good selection of meals and cakes. Courteous and friendly service.
What a lovely place to eat nice food good service well worth a visit
Haddock sweetcorn chowder was delicious. Staffs were very friendly. I heard it's a family-run business.
Always a pleasure to visit Elvira's cafe. Staff were really helpful when I visited with my 100 year old mother who loves the place. I saw them equally welcoming to families with small children. The food is lovely, fresh and with a homemade feel. The garden is charming. My mum said more comfortable o
Great little find for an old fashioned lunch cooked just that little bit better. I would have give five stars but for the portions size which for a man are a little smaller. Both of us gents left still feeling a little hungry even after having the main and cooked desert. Worth seeking out and enjoy
My husband and I had lunch here today after a visit to Borde Hill Gardens, we didn't have a reservation, but still got a table, the staff all wore masks and there were plenty of sanitisers available and tables socially distanced. The food was lovely, although we did have a bit of a wait between co
The food tasted amazing, the service was great. We had a lovely time at supper on their opening night at Jeremy's. They made us feel very welcome and we are looking forward to going back again soon 😊
We have been a number a times as it's always reliable for a decent lunch. Saying that, last time the Fish pie was disappointing , more a salmon pie... but generally good overall. A fine range of puddings too. The staff are brilliant as it can be very busy yet they are always polite and attentive.
Simply superb! The food is excellent the service attentive without being fussy. The atmosphere is nice too. Cafe Elvira is now my "go to" for a good breakfast.
Lovely afternoon tea for 7 celebrating mother in laws birthday. The homemade cakes were presented beautifully on a 3 tier cake stand. The chef came out and explained what each cake was and also the sandwich fillings. Would happily return.
Beautiful place! Small and very cozy. Went there for breakfast and had a coffee, a sandwich and a cookie, everything was so delicious!! The place is beautifully decorated with a very personal style. The garden is small, very cute, it looks like it came out of a fairy tale.
Popular up-market café. Since there are no menus other than a chalk board, orders must be placed at the counter and it can get quite chaotic. We visited on a warm summer's day and it was nice to enjoy good food in the garden. A nice place to meet or to take visitors.
Went here for a private party. The staff were great, the venue laid out really well. Main course was overcooked, unfortunately. Tasted okay, but was tough. Will definitely return, to try out the restaurant itself.
I had an amazing time at Cafe Elvira. The afternoon tea was delicious and the attention from the staff was incredible. Congratulations to you all. You are fab. Also the location is so fabulous.
Lovely welcoming staff, full of knowledge and advise. Nothing was a problem and the food was delicious. Highly recommended. Thank you will be back
