Absolutely unreal food!! Amazing customer service, the staff are constantly on the go! Always so friendly and welcoming, especially Claire & Danielle! 🥰🙌🏻 They cater for everyone!
Fab if you have kids too, they have an outdoor park with picnic benches too! Would highly recommend!
Excellent place to visit. The food was so tasty - garlic bread as a starter, meat pie veg for a main. Actually, the gravy was so delicious, well seasoned, and the right consistency thick & runny. Generally, I could not fault the meal at all.
The front of house staff were exceptionally helpful, pleasant, jocular, and friendly.
I had forgotten this place for no apparent reason but looking out side the building it has security cameras all over the car park area, in the garden area, good signage concerning the river adjacent to the pub. Good play area for children and again request that adults are present.
We visited for my daughter's early birthday meal celebration. With a good vegan menu we were delighted that she and her BF could eat vegan foods. Myself as a vegetarian, I was happy with the menu choices. The food for each of us was delicious. 2x vegan vegetable pizzas with vegan chips and onion rings done in a separate fryer, I had the cauliflower and red pepper curry and Hubby had steak and ale pie with chips and peas. The staff were very welcoming and attentive to our needs and we would definitely return and recommend.
My wife and I dined here yesterday. I got the cowboy burger (yeehaw) with a Drink for £10.50. It’s was very scrumptious. Shelia had the beef lasagne, the dish was almost licked clean she liked it so much. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We will be visiting again when we are up that way and will bring the pooch along next time.
Great inside and outside seating options. Really easy to order - simply take a seat and scan a QR code. Drinks were brought out quickly by a young man who was very friendly and helpful. The food was hot and tasty and came very quickly. Good value and great experience. We will definitely return.
Met a friend for lunch and we met here for a catch-up and meal together, ordered on the app and food came quickly and was very nice, slight mistake on the drinks but was rectified straight away. Friendly staff great food what more can you ask.
We ordered the club sandwich, I had a fish finger sandwich and the hunters chicken for my wife. All 3 were cooked to perfection so if you ask me would I go again definitely yes. Worth trying for yourself.

Online booking was easy, staff took notes about my disabled mother’s seating arrangements and gave us an appropriate table. Waiting staff and bar staff exceptional, friendly and polite, and took care of the clean up quickly after a young child became unwell. Food and drinks delicious.
Moving soon into the area, and slowly checking out the bars and amenities in the area. What a Brilliant, bright bar and restaurant area... with a sun catching garden outdoor space, food looked amazing and a great array of ciders, beers and ales... child Friendly, with a great range of food varieties with a great family meal deals available. Definitely be visiting again, with free parking...

Brilliant staff, friendly, food was dry. It was busy. Took half a hour to get a starter and hour to get mains. If it been brought out sooner I think it if been nicer.
Go, just go when it's not so packed, it's a nice place to hang out.
The booking was very easy via the app/website. On arrival the staff were warm, friendly & welcoming. When ordering our drinks & eats all the staff were helpfull especially recommending there own personnel favourites. All plate we're returned empty always the sign if a nice meal as our lot are very fussy. The steaks & the burgers were all cooked to our liking.
The staff you employ within the Cockcrow are a credit to your company well done for an loverly evening.
We had a party of 25 adults and 4 children for my sons 18th birthday and the staff were brilliant everyones food was lovely the service was brilliant and my son had the best night with his family. From booking until the night the staff were brilliant and accommodating to my requests and needs thanks for a fantastic night
Menu pretty varied so lot's of choice staff go out of their way to be helpful good place for a quiet meal interactive quiz on a Wednesday but best book a table as can be busy
Very busy but that did not impact on the excellent customer service we experienced, along with some taste food.
Really enjoyed the atmosphere, we won’t wait too long before we return.
The food was a lot better than we had received in our last visit hence the lengthy time of us returning- so pleased we did.
