Fabulous Sunday lunch… managed to find us a lovely table with very short notice booking. Friendly team…. Pork scratching starter was to die for… and the roast chicken so plentiful I’ve taken some home with me. Super dog friendly….. gorgeous vibe. Will be back xxx

Just Enjoyed a lovely lunch here - After many lunches and Christmas dinners over the years havent visited for over a year as after a takeover, not very attentive and the service wasn't as good. Very impressed with this visit, attentive, very pleasant, decor lighter and more welcoming! Food superb!
A lovely Sunday roast, which included vegetables and it was hot and very tasty. The puddings fantastic and nice tasting coffees. Service was very efficient and at last a waiter with a sense of humour, I like that, lacking in so many places these days.
Had a really delicious burger at the New Inn last night. The BBQ pork spare ribs and fried halloumi matchsticks we shared as a starter also went down a storm - thank you so much for the delicious food, warm welcome and friendly service! My only problem was that I didn’t have any room for dessert 😄😉
My second stay here and booked for another 3 nights. The Service, Rooms, Food & Drink is all of the very highest quality and excellent value too. Peaceful location but easy connections to Reading M4 or heading South. Great location. Still Very highly recommended

An amazing place. We enjoyed a wonderful 2 night stay here. Rooms were spotless, comfortable and well catered for. Cooked breakfast was obviously sourced from local produce, well cooked and presented. Extra tea/coffee offered. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the team. Maria, is just so kind

Food is really great, taste and portion size are spot on, you will struggled to find such great food for the price in the South East. Staff were exceptionally friendly and nothing was too much to ask. Shame there isn't a rear garden as it backs onto lovely fields. However the revamp really puts it b
The most amazing stay at one of the most beautiful pubs in the UK. This family run establishment is a great stay if you are in the area or passing by. Don’t forget to take a picture in the same spot as Muhammad Ali while you’re there!
