Old Hall Heckmondwike - Heckmondwike - Photo album

Wonderful place to stay. The room was perfect, and complete with a four poster bed. Historic building in beautiful grounds. Such a treat to stay here.
Our first visit for quite a while impressive both inside and out . Staff were very helpful and service with a smile 😃. It won't be so long before we call again.
The nicest pub in the area! The owner is so welcoming and I would recommend this for food or just a drink. Such a lovely atmosphere, will be returning !!!💗
A beautiful old building thankfully not overdone during a recent refurb. Friendly welcome, one thing to note if you don't know the place is that only Sam Smith beers served which isn't a problem for me. Food is served but we haven't tried it yet so I'll rate that later.
We had a lovely Sunday dinner here today. The team are so welcoming and really looked after us. Great to visit and see this fab, traditional pub open again and serving great home made food! Thanks! We’ll be sure to return soon :)
We love this pub. So friendly and lovely food. Always so welcoming. Xx
Fantastic pub with loads of history, well worth a visit
Visited today for first time in a long time. Pass this pub often and wasn't quite sure if it had reopened. We were glad to see that it has. Were greeted with a warm welcome. It was very quiet but it was Monday afternoon. We just had a drink but were pleased to hear that they are doing meals as well
Gorgeous old place full of character.. Great landlords serving great Sam Smith's brews and delicious and slightly different slant to regular pub grub. Delicious! However, the pub needs to be full of customers though, it's a sad reflection of the time. Shame , as the Old Hall deserves better!
Quick update. Still open, still good beers, still good prices. Now has tap and pay.... Still has the no phones, swearing, music rules. Still a bit quiet at times. Food's on. Not had any yet but it does look good. Some repairs and updates have been done. Looks a bit better now. Feels a bit more wel
Nice social pub, you can have quiet drink and chat here.
Great pub and a great local building, glad to see they do a quiz again and no phones is a great rule politely enforced..
Lovely pub ,no mobiles going off no body staring at their phones a place of peace and conversation .....and not a bad Sunday roast too .
A great last minute Sunday Lunch…we will definitely be returning, thank you.
What a brilliant place! Dates from the late 1400s. Plenty of oak beams and history everywhere. No phones or tablets allowed, it's a pub for meeting people and the old fashioned habit of talking to other face to face! I will be coming back here again for sure
Not been in this pub for quite a while. We had a good conversation with the landlady who was very pleasant then the landlord came down and it turned out that he had been a landlord/ steward in the Mirfield area a number of years ago. Very pleasant evening with good beer.
Comfy, friendly, good food and a lovely atmosphere
