The second time I have ordered from here and my wife isn't easy to please as she doesn't like spicy food at all where as I am completely opposite. Spoke to the guys on the phone and completely understanded everything.. Top food again definitely my new curry place. Spot on!

A great local gem! The food and service was top quality. Went with the Mrs and kids, they all loved it. Absolutely horrendous, we waited over 2 hours and 30 mins for our order, I wanted to cancel my order (this was refused) I asked for money back off my order (this was refused) food was stone cold when arrived, couldn't get in touch with the restaurant. Been eating here for years, both in the restaurant and as a takeaway. Great choice, great food and good service. Better than the other much busier indian restaurant in Heckmondwike but don't know why as Spice Cottage is much better. Balti Murgh Jalfrezi is best curry I have ever had at any Indian re
