Fish and chips were phenomenal and nothing was too much trouble even when calling in and asking for a Gluten Free fish also .
Pleasant chatty staff . All very traditional.
Went today to get gluten free fish and chips for my son they were so helpful and the fish and chips went down a treat . If you are after gluten free give them a call first thank you 😋

Super food. We crave these fish and chips when we're away. They even helped make steamed fish when I was going through chemotherapy. Always extra service and extra friendly. Great fish, chips, scollop, fish cake, sausage... great everything. Never had a bad meal from there yet. Always hot, always go
By far the best chippy in the area. Hand on heart the best fish I've had in many years! To be fair everything we got was the best had in years! Now just the fantastic quality and taste of the food but the owners shaun & ed are so genuinely nice its lovely to walk in and have a natter. Can even ring
Fantastic service. I am a coeliac so cannot have regular batter and need gluten free. This is my local chippy and is a completely family run affair. I love the fact they know their customers and welcome all the local kids. Friendly and chatty and good fish and chips as well
Very tasty and well worth a visit the chips are marvellous as is the haddock great pair who run it always a cheery word or 2 ,highly recommended about the best in the area.
First time I've used them and can honestly say that the fish and chips were fantastic. Very reasonably priced and a lovely couple who runs this chippy. I would definitely recommend here as for me I will be returning.
I was bought up in a chippy so consider myself a connaseur. Best chips, best fish and beats Mermaid which was my No1 in the area. Very friendly owners.

I've been in twice since moving to Heckmondwike and the the owners can't be more pleasant and welcoming. They go above and beyond giving you your food.

I have lived near this fish shop for quite a number of years and found Shaun to be friendly and very funny especially with the kids he’s a very kind fellow and his fish and chips are really nice and are always cooked to perfection . I have no problem recommending 6 lane ends fisheries . 👍🏻
