Food was tasty however the wait staff could have been a bit more attentive. One server spent almost 15 minutes in conversation with a couple at a table further along. Another saw we had finished and started clearing some tables rather than ask if we wanted anything else (which in fact we did!). Like I said, the sandwiches were delicious but we'll have to return another time to try the cake

Visited this tearoom for the first time today with my baby and a couple of friends. Was welcomed in and enjoyed a friendly and professional service throughout (with staff wearing masks and encouraging customers to do the same). Lovely brie and bacon sandwich followed by a delicious brownie. I look forward to returning!

What a fabulous find. The sandwiches were a real treat and as for the cake selection it was superb. This will not be a one-off visit. The seating outside made the experience more rustic than the village appears which added to the pleasurable visit.

First time we've been here and would definitely come again, I had the vanilla and nutella cake and it was delicious, very clean and tidy, staff very polite and helpful and very covid safe. We didn't book a table, but they managed to sit us inside.

The loveliest little place for afternoon tea or a quick coffee and a bite to eat. The owner is very passionate about what he does and that certainly shows in the customer service, to food/beverages and the lovely tea room itself. The sandwiches and sweet treats are stunning to look at and delicious to eat, the team are all so lovely and friendly. We're thoroughly looking forward to the reopening here so we can come and sit in again, highly recommended and family friendly.

What a gem of a place. Never knew it was there before today when I went for afternoon tea with my daughter in law. We booked so we were guaranteed scones as apparently they sell fast due to being freshly made. Sandwiches super fresh and cake selections brilliant. Too filling for us but they gave us a box to bring cake home. Friendly staff. Ample room and toilet facilities for wheelchairs or pushchairs. Will recommend to all my friends and definitely go back.

Great little tea shop tucked away in the centre of Hedge End village, the staff are friendly and welcoming. There is outdoor seating but if you want to sit inside you really need to book. The menu is not extensive but that means it is all homemade and not taken out of a freezer. There is a variety of cakes but as it's so popular they tend to run out! I've even heard if you want a scone you need to reserve one when you book your table. Everything is clean and well-organised and we felt very comfortable there.
