Review Fayre & Square - Hedon

I'm a wheelchair user and this pub has plenty of space for me to get around. Staff always ask if the table is suitable for me. Service is great, even when they're busy. If you order on the app it seems to be a quicker experience. Extensive menu certainly appears to have something for everyone, like our 6yr old grandson who is an extremely fussy eater but he loves it here - even me, who recently had Gastric Sleeve Surgery and can only eat certain things, has found food I can eat and staff give me foil bags to take my leftovers home as I can only eat small quantities now. They also slightly amended a pudding so I could have it. Staff are always friendly and can't do enough for the customer. I haven't personally stayed in the hotel section of Kingstown but my parents have and they said the room was on par with Premier Inn/Travelodge rooms where you are provided with tea/coffee making facilities, the rooms were also nice and quiet being set back from the road.

Staff are friendly and food service was a good speed. However the food was solidly average; items like chips and fried chicken were fresh and delicious, but my partner's steak was very tough. Additionally, breads and cakes were a little dry or hard like they had been frozen or microwaved too long. My burger bun looked and felt freezer burnt! There is good variety in the menu but the food is a bit disappointing overall. We didn't stay overnight so I can't comment on the rooms.

First of all I'll state that this is very local to me and I mean within 5 mins walk. But that aside, the food is well cooked, tasty and reasonably priced. The staff/service is always top and have never had no reason to complain. The pub itself is very clean and large with a large children's play area with an outside playground too. I've never stayed in the hotel so I can't comment but also there is a very large car park and is rarely too full. Please visit.

came in for food and it was ok. Food came out fast and hot as expected. Georgia served us multiple times and she couple haven’t been more caring, making sure all our needs were tended to. Would highly recommend her to anyone visiting. Great job Georgia, be seeing you next time hopefully

We popped in for lunch and it was great. At the moment there are some of the classics available Mon to Fri for £5 each. Love a bargain. Food was what you would expect from a Greene King pub. Service was really quick, food was hot, staff were really friendly and attentive. There are loads of great offers on throughout the week like Wine Weds, and Bogof Burgers on a Friday. I will definitely be going back.

Booked a table for my sons birthday for eight family members. My son actually works here but was joining us as a guest too 😊 As we have previously experienced, great staff, and great food, delicious, hot and wow what a menu! Highly recommended.

Visited on 27th march. Amazing service, had a chat with one of the workers about What the pies are like and ended up ordering one, dint expect anything special but was very surprised at how good it was. Great to Schoenberg busy it was. Will be back

The staff are amazing there is a lady called Megan and right away she asked if anyone in our party had any allergies so we told her we also asked if the children's meals could come out first and they did. We have also planned to go there for my daughter's 9th birthday on Saturday and she has booked us a table and booked us in to the play area. Megan was amazing with everything that she done the drinks taking our order and asking for any allergies. The food was amazing the stake was cook to perfection definitely coming back again.

My partner and I dined at the Kingstown Hotel on Christmas Eve, we received quick friendly and professional service through our. Nothing was too much to ask for. The food was outstanding! Hats off to the chef. We often come out here and this is the reason why. Well done and thanks for your hospitality guys 🫶🥰❤️

Great food, friendly staff. Very good value for money one of my regular places I come to eat. Never disappointed.

Credit where credit is due....... In past years I avoided the place with passionas the food was awful. But hearing people's recent experiences I tried it a bit back and again yesterday.... I cannot fault it now. Food is very cheap but very good as is the service and staff... Worth a visit and very good daily offers

Have visited a few times before and food was always average/poor. Went last week and must admit, it was a lot nicer! We had the Katsu platter and you get a lot for your money and it was pretty tasty.

Always served with a smile and never get our order wrong, nice to come with the children so they get to play, the food is always cooked to our requirements and very tasty and filling and the array of drinks is immense for both soft and alcohol drinks. Love to come here with the family we live about 3 miles away so we class this as an easy place to visit.

The price to stay overnight in one of their rooms was very competitive and we were really pleased with our stay and value for money. We didn’t arrive until 1am (visiting family from the South) but Dave the night porter was very friendly and it was no problem at all for him to check us in at that time. Breakfast was also really good value for money. Thank you and most likely see you soon.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was ready, warm and a decent size. Food was good and will stay here again for sure.

Like to stop here before our road trips. Stayed off, on this occasion, to have breakfast. I had a the Full English Breakfast and a Cappuccino and my friend had the Vegetarian English Breakfast and Tea. Service was top notch and friendly as per usual. The food was it's usual fried delight 🙂 and set both us up for the day.

Lovely rooms which I found spotlessly clean and very well priced. Four bay's for electric charging cars 😊😊 Staff all friendly and lovely atmosphere,food I had was fantastic and good selection of beers and wines. Well managed by the team and Rob. 10/10 👏👏

Lovely food & staff, had the vegan fishless finger baguette which I loved!!! love the range of vegan options available which means I can easily eat out with friends & family who are not vegan, staff were absolutely lovely and the customer service was amazing, had one ever so slight ‘issue’ with the food and the staff went above and beyond to rectify and do right, would definitely recommend:)
